Tent Canadienne - 5 persons

I was here during sommer time. If you have a familiy with small children in the age of ~5-10, and want to do a camping trip with car&big tent, then this is your ideal campsite!
But be aware of the uni-sex-toilets, that the (many) children also consider as part of their playground. the pool is also occupied by them :-).
If you dont belong to this group, either rent a hut (for approx up to 200€ per night), or travel elswhere.

We had a wonderful stay. The chalet we rented more than met our expectations. The campground is set in a beautiful setting and is ideally located in the Vanoise. The staff is very friendly. The only downside: the pool still needs to be made safer—the slats near the footbath are very slippery (which caused me to take a nasty fall).

. It might be nice to update the games—petanque, ping pong—and sand down the wood around the pool to prevent splinters.

This was the second Huttopia site we visited during our August holiday with our two boys (3 and 5) and compared to the other two sites we felt that the physical location of Vanoise-Bozel was fantastic, it is so easy to entertain yourself as you are close to a small town, two steps away from an adventure zipline park, two steps away from the lake … with a wonderful playground, skatepark, sports park and right next to a river. But I have to say my 4 star is mostly based on the location, because I think compared to the other Huttopia’s this site underperforms a little on the other aspects: overall less spacious set up, playground tiny and more secluded from the bar/pool area, not making it a very fun or busy spot for the kids; we strongly felt there are not enough sinks to do your dishes nearby (for us toilet and shower quantities were alright, even if less than the other Huttopia sites).

Compared to the other Huttopia’s we visited we felt that Vanoise-Bozel organized lovely special activities such as a treasure hunt by pony and an early morning yoga session (I joined and loved that the local teacher was serious about her practice, it was definitely not easy easy beginner level)…but unfortunately upon arrival basically all kids activities were already full. So during our three night stay we did not manage to sign our kids up for anything that needed registration. For us personally no problem, but a bit of a bummer if the organized activities would be part of your decision to go to Huttopia.

Despite these “points of criticism” we most definitely left with wonderful memories and would recommend this Huttopia site. Read more Show less
