Summary created out of 233 reviews

This campsite is beautifully situated in a forested area with views over Lake Geneva and the Alps. Guests especially appreciate the exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, who actively assist and provide a warm welcome. The location offers tranquility and nature, with direct access to hiking trails and cycling distance to Geneva. The pool is child-friendly and the pizzas and bread service are well-liked, though waiting times can sometimes be long. However, there are areas for improvement: the pool and sanitary facilities need renovation, pitches are on slopes which isn't always ideal, and capacity can be insufficient during busy periods.

The campsites are nice, spacious, and shaded. It’s a pleasant, quiet campground. The pool could use an upgrade, though. It’s relatively small, and the tiles around it hurt your feet. The restrooms are a bit dated but clean.

We had another fantastic time at this Huttopia campground🏕😁! The atmosphere was great, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome! The food and drinks were just right, and they organized fun evenings and activities.
One downside was our (tent) site🫣. The ditch in front of our spot was so deep that our car (SUV) couldn’t drive over it. Also, the ground at our spot was mostly rocky, which made it difficult to set up a tent.
All in all, we’d definitely go back to Huttopia—it’s just that our tent site itself could have been better.

A beautifully situated, green campground with plenty to do in the area. The site was big enough for our RV, and it came with a picnic table, which was really nice and convenient. The restrooms were fine; I’ve read some negative reviews about them, but there isn’t just one restroom building—there are several smaller ones scattered throughout the campground. I never had to wait to take a shower. We were able to walk the dog just fine downstairs; next to the trash containers, there’s a path leading a bit into the woods where dogs are allowed. The pool was nice and cool and a good size. I have some balance issues and find the steps leading into the pool a bit tricky. The pool isn’t always very clean. There is a restroom by the pool, though.
It’s also nice to be able to grab a quick bite and a drink at the campground’s restaurant.
The surrounding area is fantastic for exploring the Jura or the Alps, visiting cities—there’s really something for everyone.
All in all, a great campground, although I was surprised by an evening show one night; maybe I didn’t look into it thoroughly beforehand—I assumed there wouldn’t be any shows at a quiet Huttopia campground. Other than that, it didn’t bother me.

Zwembad is niet altijd even schoon.

We’re currently renting one of the Zenith tents (No. 297). It’s a really lovely campground with well-equipped tents. We’re extremely satisfied—it has all the comforts we need!

    The only downsides:
People walk right past our tent as a “shortcut,” even though it’s not a path marked on the map. It’s very disruptive because the path is narrow and runs right in front of our porch.
There is a fairly steep slope where young children could easily fall, so extra caution is needed.

    Suggestions:
Put up a sign on both sides that says something like: “No Trespassing—Private Property.”
Install a barrier or safety netting to prevent falls.

    Disappointing...

A nice cottage in a bad location; the hedges aren't maintained, so there's no privacy. The pool is run-down and the tiles are sharp. The best part is the “heated pool” advertised on the website—but it was only 21 degrees all week.

    Huttopia once, but never again.
