    We had booked as a family with 3 children to spend a "natural" moment as presented on the site ... but big disappointment. Correct welcome and clean mobile-home, nothing to say about that. On the other hand, the environment did not correspond at all to the image sold: lots of mud, no greenery around, mobile-homes stuck together with vis-à-vis on all sides. There were very few families on site, and the atmosphere was more like a construction site, with lots of vehicles and workers. Our children were unable to enjoy themselves or meet other children, which was the aim of the stay. As for security, there were no checks at the entrance, no identity checks and very little lighting at night, which is worrying for families. We preferred to leave the same day.

    Nous avions réservé en famille avec 3 enfants pour passer un moment “nature” comme présenté sur le site… mais grosse déception. Accueil correct et mobile-home propre, rien à dire là-dessus. Par contre, l’environnement ne correspond pas du tout à l’image vendue : beaucoup de boue, aucune verdure autour, mobil-homes collés avec vis-à-vis de tous les côtés. Très peu de familles sur place, ambiance plutôt “chantier” avec beaucoup de véhicules et d’ouvriers. Nos enfants n’ont pas pu profiter ni rencontrer d’autres enfants, ce qui était pourtant le but du séjour. Côté sécurité, aucun contrôle à l’entrée, aucune vérification d’identité et très peu d’éclairage le soir, ce qui est inquiétant en famille. Nous avons préféré repartir le jour même.

    A beautifully located campground in beautiful surroundings, the location is very good. We parked the car halfway and cycled to Geneva, very nice to do. A boat trip to Yvoire is also recommended! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Especially the camping spots are nice. However, the rental accommodations are really outdated (mold in the bathroom) and just plain dirty. In addition, our experience is that in the early and late season, Huttopia rents the accommodations to workers, who do not contribute very much to the vacation atmosphere (read: weed smell and loud music when they come home in the evening after a day's work, and work vans parked everywhere on the campsite leaving early in the morning). The swimming pool is also outdated. The little restaurant is fine. We would not come back here, but that is not because of the environment and the friendliness of the staff!

    Een mooi gelegen camping in een prachtige omgeving, de locatie is heel goed. Wij parkeerden de auto halverwege en fietsten naar Genève, heel leuk om te doen. Ook een boottocht naar Yvoire is aan te raden! Het personeel is ontzettend aardig en behulpzaam. Vooral de kampeerplekken zijn mooi. Echter, de huur-accommodaties zijn echt verouderd (schimmel in de badkamer) en gewoon viezig. Daarnaast is onze ervaring dat Huttopia in het voor- en naseizoen de accommodaties verhuurt aan arbeiders, die niet erg bijdragen aan de vakantiesfeer (lees: wietlucht en harde muziek wanneer ze 's avonds thuiskomen na een dag werken, en overal geparkeerde werkbusjes op de camping die vroeg in de ochtend weer vertrekken). Het zwembad is ook verouderd. Het restaurantje is prima. We zouden hier niet terugkomen, maar dat ligt niet aan de omgeving en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel!
