Nice campground in beautiful surroundings. We spent 2 weeks here in August. The atmosphere at the campsite is relaxed, nice that you can make a fire at your spot in the evening. Around 22:00 it is generally pretty quiet. Our children (9 and 6) had a great time with many Dutch friends in and around the (somewhat small) swimming pool, the slide (countless times with an inflatable tire off), the swimming lake and the sports field. The organized activities are generally fun (sports tournaments, stargazing, movie night), other activities (mini-disco, pool party) we skipped. The sanitary facilities are basic but functional and well kept. The pizzas are really delicious and it's nice that you don't have to leave the campsite for an ice cream. By the way, what is a small disadvantage, and super easy to solve I think: except for the stay, it is not possible to pay with pin in the store or catering. As for the pitch, it can be with or against. We had pitch 52, which was fine. Not quite straight in terms of surface and close to a toilet building, but quiet and at the same time not too far from the store, swimming pool, lake, soccer field etc. In general the spots are large and especially the spots along the edge of the forest looked beautiful. But we also saw very sloping spots and muddy spots elsewhere in the campground. The area is beautiful for hiking (including some nice trails right from the campsite). Sentier de roches is highly recommended. And there are plenty of other things to do (lakes (drive on to Longemer: much nicer than Gerardmer), climbing park, tobogganing etc.).

Leuke camping in een prachtige omgeving. Wij stonden hier in augustus 2 weken.
