    We pitched our tent for 10 days. The campground is in a beautiful setting in the middle of a forest. It’s a quiet place, perfect for relaxing. The sites are large and comfortable, although the rocky ground makes it difficult to drive in the tent stakes.
    The staff is very friendly, pleasant, and very attentive.
    There are plenty of activities available—my daughter was over the moon.
    I do have two minor complaints, though: in our section, there were only 4 restrooms for more than twenty campsites! There were long waits during peak hours, which wasn’t pleasant.
    The second downside is the campground’s layout itself. Our site was 500 meters from the reception area and the pool… a 500-meter climb because we were located downhill. Having to walk that path several times a day got tiring after a while, and I was more worried about my daughter, who usually wanders off here and there. I think if I’d known this, I might not have booked there.
    That said, I’d still recommend the campground to anyone who knows what they’re getting into.

    Nous avons posé notre tente pendant 10 jours. Le camping possède un très bel emplacement sein d'une forêt. Le lieu est calme propice à la détente. Les emplacements sont grands et confortables même si le sol (caillouteux ) rend le plantage des piquets difficiles.
    Le personnel est très sympathique, agréable et très prévenant.
    Il y a de nombreuses activités proposées ma fille était aux anges.
    Je note néanmoins deux bémols : dans notre section seulement 4 sanitaire pour plus d'une vingtaine d'emplacements! Beaucoup d'attente aux heures de pointe ce qui n'est pas agréable.
    Le second bémol, est la disposition même du camping. Notre emplacement se trouvait à 500 mètres de l'accueil, le la piscine....500 mètres de dénivelé car nous étions en contre bas. Ce chemin à faire, plusieurs fois par jour était fatiguant à la longue et j'étais moins tranquille pour ma fille qui habituellement part à droite à gauche. Je pense que si j'avais su cela, je n'aurai peut-être pas réservé là.
    Pour autant je conseille le camping pour toute personne averti

    A beautiful campground right in the heart of the forest. A pretty friendly staff and excellent pizzas in the evening! A variety of activities, especially for kids. The restrooms are generally clean. In any case, for my first camping experience, I found the cleanliness very reassuring. The campsites are fairly large and, most importantly, well-defined—you don’t end up right next to your neighbor. In short, we really enjoyed our stay in Wattwiller and the Huttopia atmosphere.

    Un beau camping en plein cœur de la forêt. Une équipe plutôt sympa et d’excellentes pizzas le soir! Animations variées surtout pour les enfants. Les sanitaires sont globalement propres. En tout cas pour une première expérience camping, j’ai trouvé ça super rassurant niveau propreté. Les emplacements sont assez grands et surtout bien délimités, on ne dort pas collé à son voisin. Bref on a beaucoup aimé notre séjour à wattwiller et l’esprit Huttopia.

    A very good campground. Great location. The campsites are surrounded by nature (you have to walk uphill to get to the recreation center or the pool). The restrooms are cleaned very regularly and are very clean (just be careful not to slam the doors when the cleaning crew is working at 6:30 a.m.). The pool and snack bar are great.

    We spent two weeks at the Wattwiller campground in a very comfortable trapper tent with all the necessary amenities.
    The staff was very attentive—thanks to Romain, the technician who stabilized the steps leading up to the terrace, as well as to the waitstaff.
    We recommend this place for its forest setting and for the beautiful walks through the woods, which are peaceful and cool during the summer.
