Visit Bergerac
Just 20 km from the campground is the town of Bergerac. The town has cozy medieval streets and is titled "City of Art and History." Meet the statue of Cyrano and visit the tobacco museum where you will learn all about the 3000 year history of the tobacco plant. Afterwards, take a seat on one of the cozy terraces in the charming streets for one of Bergerac's wines. Also visit the Maison de Vins de Bergerac wine cellar. In the 17th-century building you can learn all about the vineyard, there is a wine library and, of course, a wine tasting. A visit is also completely free.
Visit Périgueux
A 30-minute drive from the campground is Périgueux, a lovely city with plenty to do and see. You can enjoy wandering around the old streets and alleys and past city palaces. The famous Saint-Front Cathedral in the city center is not to be missed. The cathedral's design was inspired by Byzantine ideas. Every day you will find the farmers' market in the city center. On Wednesdays and Saturdays it is extra large and is also called the "marchés des saveurs" (market of taste). Périgueux is the capital of Périgord, the region famous for its gastronomy. Therefore, be sure to dine in one of its cozy restaurants.
A day of fun at Jacquou Parc
A fun family outing in to Jacquou Parc, about half an hour away. This amusement park offers attractions for the whole family, including roller coasters, water rides and a playground. You can also see animals, such as monkeys and crocodiles, and there is a miniature golf course and a restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal. The park is open from April through September.
Discover the beautiful natural environment of the Dordogne
Nearby are beautiful rivers like the Dordogne or the Vezere. Rent a canoe and take to the water. There are also many other water sports to practice in or near the campsite and you can of course simply take a refreshing dip. For the real hiker there are beautiful hiking trails such as the "sentier des Meulières", the "Boucle des ponts", or the "Roches enchantées".

Prachtige camping veel groene kampeerplaatsen , lekkere keuken en vriendelijke beheerders. Voor vissers het walhalla .

Prachtige camping met heel grote plaatsen voor caravan, auto en voortent. Je waant je in een enorm park met schitterend uitzicht op de omgeving. Sanitair uitstekend, schoon, en lekker warm water voor douche en afwas. Beheerders bijzonder vriendelijk en heel serieus bezig met hun bedrijf. Leuk restaurantje waar je lekker kunt eten voor een schappelijke prijs. Omgeving is een paradijs voor fietsers (race-/e-bike) en wandelaars. Elk dorpje in de buurt heeft wel één of meerdere, goed uitgezette wandelingen, in allerlei lengtes. Verder Bergerac en Perigeux bezocht, beiden bezoekje waard. Kortom, hebben het hier super naar ons zin gehad en hopen hier in de toekomst zeker nog eens terug te keren.

Très beau camping intégré dans la nature, très bien entretenu, accueil très chaleureux, emplacement immense,un petit paradis comme on en trouve rarement .

Mooie camping met grote plaatsen. Sommigen liggen wel op een helling zodat je moet oppassen dat je caravan niet kipt. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters. Mooi terras met een mooi vergezicht voor het nuttigen van een cocktail, biertje, wijntje enz. Je kan er ook verschillende snacks eten en heerlijk roomijs. Het sanitair is oud, maar goed onderhouden.

Une découverte et un vrai coup de cœur pour ce bijou de camping. Accueil, sourire propreté des sanitaires, tout y est. Si on ajoute la taille des emplacements, de nombreuses balades autour du camping. Ça doit ressembler au paradis. On y retournera, ça c est sûr. Si vous passez dans le coin n hésitez surtout pas à vous arrêter.
