    In einem Wald gelegen, also auch im Hochsommer angenehm. Ein Camping für Familien mit nur wenig Pensionären im Wohnmobil. Keine klar eingegrenzte, gleichförmige Standplätze. Viele Bäume geeignet für Hängematten und zum Klettern für die Kinder. Ansprechende Angebote auch für Teenies. Sehr sauber, angesichts dessen, wie voll es war. Teilweise sind die Parzellen etwas eng für eine Familie mit mehreren Zelten und VW Bus. Das Personal ist sehr jung und ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit

    We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 1. We found the pitches too small and dusty to impossible to keep our sleeping area clean. We were almost hit by the electric carts roaring around. To find no paper in the toilets on the 1st morning we moved

    Heel mooi gelegen camping in een prachtig bos, dichtbij het strand (met zand en rotsen, niet om in te zwemmen), veel schaduw door de vele bomen. De zandstranden (Plage de Rémigeasse of Plage de Vert Bois zijn op 10 minuten fietsen). Toch waren er ook heel wat minpunten. Onze plaats was niet zo groot, hoewel ik extra had bijbetaald voor een extra grote, ruime plaats. Wij moesten echt puzzelen om alles erop te krijgen (caravan + tent + auto). De bodem bestond uit zacht zand met aarde, waardoor alles direct heel vuil werd. Gelukkig regende het niet, anders was dit onmiddellijk een modderpoel geworden. Ook het pad was op het einde (bij onze plaats) zeer moeilijk begaanbaar door het zand. Je kon er niet op fietsen, want je zakte weg. Wat ik ook jammer vond, was dat er geen kraantje was bij onze plaats. We moesten ver stappen naar het sanitair (dat dus ver was) om water te halen. Ook het onthaal (enige plaats met wifi) was heel ver. Het voordeel dat we zo ver stonden was dan weer dat we weinig lawaai hadden, want aan het terras was er heel veel lawaai van schreeuwende kinderen die door de overdekte ruimte van het terras liepen. Misschien een idee om de voetbaltafel daar weg te halen, zodat de mensen daar rustig kunnen zitten? De fietsverhuur hebben we niet gebruikt, we zijn naar een andere fietsverhuur gegaan, want je kunt de fietsen niet reserveren en ze moeten al om 19 uur terug op de camping zijn. Je kan ze niet voor meerdere dagen reserveren. Het sanitair was soms proper, soms vuil. Het was dan ook erg druk op de camping. De douches waren matig (soms te warm, soms te koud). Het eiland zelf is heel leuk om te surfen en te fietsen. Er zijn overal leuke fietspaden tussen de charmante dorpjes. Misschien kom ik nog eens terug naar Ile d,Oléron, maar dan probeer ik waarschijnlijk eens een andere camping. Ik vond deze prijs-kwaliteit toch niet zo super, want het was toch wel duur allemaal.
