Très calme, agréable avec de l'espace

A great family vacation, with more than reasonable value for the price. Very nice pool and easy access to the beach.
The chalet was clean and comfortable—the only thing missing was a good fan in this heat! And unfortunately, the bar/restaurant was closed in the afternoon, which is really, really too bad!

Disastrous management by the campground manager!
As soon as we arrived for a week-long stay in our RV, the manager’s welcome was appalling. He was glued to the phone, preferring to chat with his employees rather than attend to us. Frankly, it’s obvious he doesn’t like his job.
Next, our “Comfort” reservation—sold as a shaded spot—was in full sun, with no shade at all on a gravel surface!
After we complained, his only response was: “It’s summer, and that’s just how it is.” Faced with this attitude—this refusal to find a solution—we decided to leave the next day. Only then did he deign to look for a solution, but it was too late. Worse still, he failed to show up for our July 14 meeting to finalize the refund.
Fortunately, the employee Pierre-Henry was fantastic. He took responsibility, apologized profusely, and took the initiative to refund us. His empathy did us a world of good. The campground should urgently put Pierre-Henry in charge and get rid of that unfriendly manager who’s completely useless!

We arrived at the campground around 9 p.m., in the rain (which wasn't your fault, of course).
It was impossible to pitch the tent on the site because the ground was hard, dry gravel… even though it was raining—which says it all. Given the time of night, it was impossible to reach anyone by phone.
I’ve spent dozens of nights camping. I’ve never seen a tent site so unsuitable.
Why invest in sites like this when you could just leave it as grass!

Very friendly welcome at the front desk. Fairly spacious site. White stones on the ground. Distant view of the lake. Pretty nice restrooms. A bit pricey for a night’s stay. Major issues with flies and aggressive bees that ruined our dinner… I don’t know if it was just bad luck or a recurring problem!

Accueil à la réception très sympathique. Emplacement assez grand .
