General information

In the middle of the Douglas firs, you can enjoy a charming stay for two in a fully wooden hut, a short distance from the quiet zen zone for adults. Large windows bring the forest inside and provide a beautiful view of nature. Inside, you will find a comfortable living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a private spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. The separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed of 140 x 200 cm, making the hut perfect for a romantic stay. An Italian coffee maker is available for making coffee. During warm summer days, the ceiling fan provides extra cooling, while the accommodation, thanks to solar energy, offers a special, sustainable way of staying. There is no wifi, but via 4G you can easily remain reachable.

Step from the hut straight onto the terrace and start the day with a cup of coffee among the trees or end the evening under the clear starry sky of the Cévennes. Relax in the two armchairs or enjoy a meal you prepare on the gas barbecue, available on request at reception. The river in the surrounding area invites you to take a refreshing dip or a relaxing walk along the water. Thanks to the car-free layout of the grounds and the natural surroundings, everything here is about peace, simplicity and fully enjoying the outdoors.

Our 2nd romantic stay at BIVOUAC NATURE. A superb peaceful interlude, ideal for recharging the batteries for a few days. The site is lushly landscaped, allowing each pitch to be sufficiently isolated from its neighbors and immersed in nature. The facilities are well-maintained and the reception is attentive to your every need. The pond is also a really nice place to swim or read. You'll find hiking trails leaving from the campsite and visits to be made without necessarily having to drive. A great place to get away from it all and enjoy nature. Many thanks for our stays!

We had a great stay at this campsite despite the heat. The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The tents (safari tents for us) are good. Beware, the site is on a slope and the terrace is a bit high with a big step. This can be tricky with very young children. The place is quiet and in the forest. You feel at home here. The only "negative" point (because it's relative) is that the "privileged" access to the river is not on the campsite. You have to take your car. Otherwise it's a 30-minute walk and a steep climb back. We would have preferred to know beforehand, because with children, it's complicated without the car. But the nearest bathing place is just great😁.

On s'y sent bien.

Ideal place for a break in the middle of nature. My tent pitch was out of sight and quiet. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Special mention for the freshwater pool. Just beware of the access road, which is a bit technical for motorcycles 🥲
