Bel endroit au bord de la rivière Ubaye Bungalow propre et moderne pour le notre Prix convenable Par contre le repas du soir fut fastidieux car service très long pour pratiquement plus rien à la carte à par des lasagnes et des pizzas J ai commandé une assiette de fromage à 12€ que l on m a servi sans pain sans m’avoir prévenu qu il n y en avait plus Manque donc d anticipation du esstaurant pour ce week-end ou des milliers de motards allaient sur Barcelonette

The campsite is ideally located close to Barcelonnette, in a place where the river lulls you to sleep. The setting is magnificent and the managers are incredibly friendly, The restaurant is very good and the breakfast copious. We'll be keeping this very good address for our future roadtrips 👍🏻

Magnifique petit camping nature et au calme. Les propriétaires sont accueillants. Les sanitaires sont fonctionnels et super propres. Nous n'avons pas pu tester le restaurant (il était fermé)mais nous le savions avant d'arriver. C'est un endroit où l' on se ressource..

Das war wirklich der schönste Zeltplatz, den wir bisher hatten. Wir hatten das Glück einen der beiden Plätze auf der "Insel" zu bekommen. Wir waren dort fast alleine, was wir sehr schätzten. Einen direkten Zugang zum klaren, kalten See hatten wir durch unseren Platz ebenso. Auch der Weg zum Restaurant für Snacks und WiFi-Zone waren dadurch für den Junior nicht weit. Im Restaurant gibt's eine lokale Wein- und Bierauswahl, auch vom Zapfhahn. Die Speisekarte bietet hauptsächlich verschiedene Pizzen aber auch lokale Spezialitäten. Toll fanden wir die tägliche Frühstücksbestellung mit frischem Brot und Croissants. Die Lage ist herrlich, mitten in den Bergen. Trotz Hitzewelle ringsum war es hier sehr angenehm und mückenfrei. Die Gegend bietet Möglichkeiten für jegliche Freizeitaktivität. Am Platz selbst wird Rafting angeboten. Einen kleinen Pool gibt's auch. Die sanitären Anlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber durchweg sauber. Nachdem ich kein Französisch spreche, kamen mir die beiden, sehr lieben Betreiber in ihrer Muttersprache - englisch sehr entgegen. Eindeutige Empfehlung von mir.

Wat een fijne camping is dit. Claire en David zijn eigenaren van kaliber diende niet vaak tegenkomt. Hoe druk ze ook zijn. Ze hebben altijd tijd voor een praatje, zijn altijd beleefd, en hebben altijd tijd om je te helpen met wat dan ook… of je nou een activiteit wilt plannen, een wandeling wilt maken of dat je een garage voor je auto nodig hebt. Niks is te gek. Hier staat behulpzaamheid hoog in het vaandel. Op de camping zelf is niet heel veel te doen maar dat hoeft ook niet in deze omgeving. Het uitzicht vanaf de hele camping is al adembenemend! En de omgeving biedt genoeg uitdaging. Op de camping is een klein zwembad en een meertje (vijver) om even in af te koelen. Er is een pingpongtafel (welke druk bezocht wordt) en een soort speelhoek voor kleine kids. Wij hebben genoten van de bergen, we zijn er met de auto op uit geweest om diverse collen te bekijken, zijn een dagje naar Italië geweest, hebben een aantal (pittige) bergwandelingen gemaakt en hebben wat kleinere activiteiten in het dal gedaan. De regio is misschien wat lastig bereikbaar (geen snelweg in de buurt) maar het is de rit zeker waard! Claire en David, dank jullie wel voor een topverblijf!
