At Ferienpark Lauterdörfle - Type D Neckar, you’ll stay in a cosy car-free holiday park just outside the small health resort of Hayingen, in the heart of the Swabian Alb. Your holiday home is about 70 m² and suitable for up to 6 people – perfect for a group trip where everyone has enough space.

The park lies in a wonderfully quiet spot, surrounded by gentle low mountain scenery that rises up to 1,000 metres. It’s the kind of place where you wake up to fresh air and birdsong instead of traffic noise. Cars stay at the edge of the park, where you’ll find parking spaces. From there, you can easily bring your luggage to the house with the handcarts provided – practical and relaxed.

After an active day out, you can book a session in the park’s sauna for some well-earned downtime. For a small fee, you and your friends can warm up together for two hours (up to four people at a time). Just reserve a slot one day in advance and enjoy a private wellness moment – ideal after hiking or exploring the region.

The surroundings are made for adventure and fun day trips. The Swabian Alb is known for its impressive landscapes, caves and panoramic views, so lace up your hiking boots or hop on a bike and head out. Fancy a playful day? Ravensburger Spieleland and LEGOLAND in Günzburg are great fun parks if you feel like unleashing your inner child. You can also explore the Bärenhöhle dripstone cave in Sonnenbühl – a cool underground world that’s definitely worth a visit.

If you’re craving pure relaxation, drive to the Donaubad/Wonnemar thermal baths in Ulm/Neu-Ulm (around 50 km). Here you can soak in pleasantly warm water of about 34°C – a perfect recovery day during your trip.
