Wilsumer Berge is beautifully situated in nature and praised for its friendly, helpful staff and lovely forest setting. The large swimming lake with slides, children's entertainment, and dog area with its own pond are widely appreciated. The modern lodges and holiday homes receive many compliments, as do the hot tubs at various accommodations. Areas for improvement include the sanitary facilities on some fields (outdated, insufficient capacity, inconsistent cleaning), the varying condition of pitches (mud, sand), and occasionally long waiting times or limited opening hours at the restaurant.

We’ve been going to this resort for 5 years, and unfortunately we have to say that it’s getting worse every year. The kids’ entertainment is only in Dutch (the owner is Dutch), which I think is a real shame. We’re from North Rhine-Westphalia, and it was still the Sesion season, but there wasn’t much entertainment even then.
You have to pay for … everything with a debit card, so the kids can’t, for example, buy themselves some fries or something on their own.
In the newly built washhouse in Section D, you can’t adjust the temperature in the showers yourself, and there’s no disposal facility for chemical toilets there. You have to walk a few meters further to find one. The staff makes an effort to keep the washhouses clean, but I think three washhouses for the entire campground are not enough.
It’s clear that the operator is focused on building more cabins. A lot of the lawn areas are being built over, resulting in several construction sites.
The absolute worst part of our stay was that at 7:45 a.m., excavators and tractors started working right in front of us. After the second day, I filed a complaint. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and understanding, and after consulting with her superiors, she gave us a voucher. I thought that was really nice of her!this is a translation, click here for the original

A beautiful, large campground with very spacious sites.
The campground is very spacious, and many renovations have been and are being carried out.
There are both large and small swimming ponds.
The restroom facilities are very neat and are cleaned thoroughly. Spacious, free showers.
Friendly staff.
Also highly recommended for dog … owners. From most parts of the campground, you’re just a short walk away from a nature reserve where you can go for a walk.this is a translation, click here for the original
