Looking for a unique place to stay with your crew? Floating House 2 – Classic is a comfortable houseboat for up to 6 people, moored in a separate, quiet part of the marina in Barth. Here you’re surrounded by water and nature, with wide views over the Bodden from your upper deck, while the historic old town and lively city harbor are just a short walk away.

The houseboat is designed for relaxed days on the water with friends. Step outside on deck with your first coffee, watch the boats glide by and plan your day on or around the Bodden. In the evening you can unwind together with a drink in hand, watching the sunset over the water – no loud roads, just the gentle sounds of the marina.

Every houseboat comes with a small wooden hut on the jetty, ideal for safely storing your bikes, SUP boards or fishing gear. There’s also a handcart available on site, so you don’t have to lug your bags over the pier. Final cleaning, WiFi (limited in the harbor) and a parking space are already included, so you can focus fully on your mini-getaway.

Fancy a swim? There’s a small, supervised beach on the Bodden at the edge of Barth, perfect for a quick dip or a lazy afternoon in the sun. If you want the full Baltic Sea experience, drive, cycle or hop on a boat to the wide sandy beaches of the Fischland-Darß peninsula, about 10 km away. Think endless dunes, chilled beach vibes and pretty villages full of traditional thatched-roof houses.

The region is a playground for water sports and outdoor activities: fishing, sailing, surfing, motorboating, rowing, paddling or simply swimming in the sheltered waters. On land you’ll find plenty of cycling routes, day trips and viewpoints to discover.

Back in Barth, you can stroll from the marina straight into the charming old town. Wander along medieval alleys, admire the beautifully restored townhouses and historic brick Gothic buildings, then end the day on the harbor square or promenade with a drink and something tasty.
