From your terrace you look out over a charming lagoon landscape with the Peenestrom, the Greifswalder Bodden and the islands of Usedom and Rügen in the distance. It’s the perfect setting for slow mornings with coffee, relaxed afternoons in the sun and long evenings watching the light reflect on the water.

The houseboat is comfortably furnished and ideal for families or a small group of friends, with three separate bedrooms and space for up to five guests. You have your own bathroom, Wi-Fi to stay connected and a linen package and final cleaning already included – so you can start relaxing from the moment you arrive.

Fancy a beach day? The nearest sandy beach is only about 2 km away in the nearby fishing village of Freest. Here you can stroll along the small harbour, watch the boats and dip your toes in the Baltic Sea. In summer you can hop on the little ferry from the harbour straight to the island of Usedom, perfect for a day trip with bikes or on foot.

Usedom welcomes you with more than 40 km of fine sandy beaches and classic seaside resorts with elegant piers, shops and cafés. If you’d rather leave the car, simply use the spa train (Bäderbahn) or the well-marked cycling routes to explore the island at your own pace.

Whether you’re into nature, harbour vibes or just pure relaxation on the water, this floating holiday home is a great base. Enjoy swimming, cycling and boat trips in the area, and then return to your peaceful spot on the lake.
