The boat is permanently moored in a separate, quiet part of the marina, so you enjoy peace and privacy while still being just a short walk from Barth’s historic old town and lively city harbor. Start your day with coffee on the upper deck, watching the light over the water, and end it with a drink under the stars – it doesn’t get much more laid-back than this.

On site you can rent bikes or boats, making it super easy to explore the Bodden and the surrounding region. You can also use the harbor facilities, and there’s a handcart available to transport your luggage over the pier – practical when you arrive with a group.

Energy costs (until 2025), Wi-Fi (note: limited in the harbor) and parking are included, so you know where you stand budget-wise. Bed linen and towels can be booked separately, which is handy if you prefer to travel light.

In Barth itself you’ll find a charming mix of history and holiday vibes. Wander past lovingly restored town houses, medieval alleys and impressive brick Gothic buildings, then grab a drink or ice cream on the harbor square and promenade.

When you feel like a beach day, you’ve got options. There’s a small, guarded beach on the Bodden at the edge of town for a quick swim. If you’re up for a little trip, the long sandy beaches of the Fischland-Darß peninsula are about 10 km away and easy to reach by car, bike or boat. Expect dunes, thatched-roof villages and relaxed Baltic Sea beach life.
