Start your day with breakfast on the terrace while you take in the 360° views over the harbour and the shimmering water of Lake Ribnitz. Later, head up to the spacious roof terrace to soak up the sun, read a book or simply watch the boats go by. From sunrise to sunset, the views here never get boring.

Inside, the houseboat is bright, modern and cleverly laid out for up to 4 people. With two bedrooms and a cosy living area, it’s ideal for couples, friends or a small family looking for something a bit different. In the evening you can curl up on the sofa in front of the open fire, a glass of wine in your hand, while the sky slowly turns orange over the water.

Feeling active? You can rent a kayak on site and paddle straight from the harbour into nature. Explore the nearby Bodden waters, discover hidden corners along the shoreline or simply glide along and enjoy the peace.

Ribnitz-Damgarten itself is known as the ‘amber town’. Here you’ll find the German Amber Museum and an amber show workshop where you can see how this “Baltic gold” is processed. The little town lies beautifully between the Hanseatic cities of Rostock and Stralsund, right where the river Recknitz flows into Lake Ribnitz. Stroll along the harbour promenade, visit cosy cafés and restaurants, and admire the brick Gothic buildings that give the town its special charm.

The Baltic Sea beaches are just a short drive away, perfect for a relaxed beach day or an adventurous amber hunt after a storm. Around Ribnitz-Damgarten you’ll find forests, moorlands, fields and old tree-lined avenues – a dream for cyclists and walkers.
