The boat has a permanent berth in the harbour of Braunsbedra in southern Saxony-Anhalt, right on the beautiful Geiseltalsee – Germany’s largest artificial lake. You’ll feel close to nature from the moment you step on board. Thanks to the large glass fronts in the living and dining area, you have wide views over the water and plenty of daylight inside. Prefer a bit more privacy or shade? You can easily darken the windows whenever you like.

Inside, the houseboat is smartly laid out with three separate rooms, so everyone has enough space and a quiet corner to retreat to. There’s one bedroom, a comfortable living area and a practical dining space. A bathroom with separate toilet adds extra comfort, especially if you’re staying with kids or friends. The air conditioning keeps things pleasantly cool in summer, while the heating makes the boat warm and cosy on colder days – ideal for a getaway in any season.

Outdoors, you can fully enjoy life on the water. Start the day with a coffee on your terrace, watch the sun glitter on the lake, or stretch out on the inviting sun deck. It’s the perfect place for reading, sunbathing or simply doing nothing at all. And with WiFi and all energy costs included, you don’t have to worry about hidden extras.

Around Geiseltalsee you’ll find loads to do on and off the water. Go on a boat tour, try sailing or diving, or rent bikes and explore the 25 km circular trail around the lake.
