The idyllic premium location, right on a mountain pasture with genuine Allgäu cows and their iconic bells ringing, makes Camping-Aach's sleeping barrels particularly attractive. They offer fantastic views of the Bregenzerwald to the Säntis. The location and design of these wooden barrels are so convincing that they were even awarded the CampsiteAward in 2023!

Not only adults enjoy the "Wolpertinger". Family-friendly located right next to the campground playground, it means for the little ones: "Open the door and into the green." The sleeping vessels have an extendable table with 6 seats, a family bath 200x200 cm, and two folding beds 210x70 cm. Upon arrival, the beds are provided with sheets; you only need to bring your own pillows, blankets or sleeping bag. The barrels are side by side and are all equipped with electricity and, in colder months, with heating. There is plenty of storage space for luggage under the beds and benches. The campsite's sanitary facilities are about 20 meters from the barrels. The large terrace with chairs, table and umbrella directly in front of your sleeping barrel is perfect for ending the day with a relaxing barbecue.

The facilities of Camping-Aach

Camping-Aach's sleeping barrels benefit from walking distance to catering, sanitary and lodging facilities. All pitches have an electricity connection; sanitary facilities are open 24 hours a day and several central water points provide short distances. Every morning a bread service provides a tasty start to the day. There is also a disposal point for chemical toilets, a sink and a washing machine with dryer. Entertainment is also provided: table tennis, billiards, table soccer, darts, a children's playground, a cozy children's play area and numerous loanable games offer variety for young and old.

Surroundings of Oberstaufen, Bavaria

The surroundings of Camping-Aach also make your stay exciting and varied: bicycle paths start directly from the campsite and cross-country ski trails in winter, so you can discover nature without a car. In addition, public transportation throughout the Allgäu is free for guests. Those who enjoy winter sports will find ski resorts only about 5 km away; in summer, hiking trails, golf (only about 1 km), and many other leisure activities await. For fun and relaxation, nearby water parks, a summer toboggan run (both approx. 7 km), and numerous other excursions are available.
