The mobile homes at Camping "Am Leuchtturm" are each 27 m³ in size and can accommodate up to 4 people. Inside, there are separate bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The accommodation also has a living room with an open kitchen and a private bathroom with shower and toilet.

The campsite "Am Leuchtturm" is located directly on the Elbe dike. From there, you can watch the shipping traffic on the Elbe to and from Hamburg. Around 80,000 ships pass the island every year. There is also a kilometer-long sandy beach on the Elbe, 200 meters from the grounds. The campsite also features a large lake with a lawn that invites you to linger. At the kiosk on the site, you have the opportunity to buy fresh bread for your breakfast. In addition, Camping "Am Leuchtturm" has a restaurant & café, offering good home-style cooking as well as a variety of cakes and pies. For younger guests, there is a uniquely designed playground with a wooden ship with an integrated slide, a swing, a carousel, a climbing structure, and rockers.

The Kehdingen region is directly adjacent to the campsite and is best explored on foot, by bike, or on the water. Kehdingen begins where the big roads end. Visit the blossoming orchards, beautiful old farmyards, historic little harbors, and tranquil corners in the old marshes. Also, see the birds in the colorful meadows behind the dikes. In the summer, the waters and beach of the Elbe are ideal for swimming or boating. Additionally, the well-known cities of Hamburg, Bremen, Bremerhaven, and Cuxhaven are all within an hour's drive from the campsite.
