The Lodges at Camping Ammertal
The lodges at Naturcampingplatz Ammertal are fully furnished luxury tents for 4 to 6 people and are located right by the lake. Inside, there are two bedrooms, a fitted kitchen, and a TV. There is also a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. For the glamping accommodations, you can relax on a terrace with views over the lake. Spend your holiday in a different way and enjoy the adventure with all comforts.
Facilities at Camping Ammertal
The campsite is separated from the Ammer river only by the navigable Ammer dam. The natural swimming lake with sandy beach is not only perfect for swimming but also for canoeing (for training or beginners). Children can also have fun in the playground or play table tennis. If you want to take a bike ride through the area, you can use the bike rental at the campsite. After a day full of action, the restaurant with beer garden will treat you to delicious regional specialties.
The surroundings of Peißenberg, Bavaria
Peißenberg is located in the center of the Pfaffen region, a particularly beautiful landscape with mighty mountains, clear lakes, gently rolling hills and wonderfully colorful meadows, 159 churches and old monasteries, beautiful well-kept farms and countless beer gardens and inns. Here you have the opportunity to take numerous trips to different places. Camping Ammertal is also the perfect starting point for day trips to the foothills of the Upper Bavarian Alps. You can also reach the Ammer river with the family in just a few steps via "Camping Ammertor". Passionate white-water enthusiasts, as well as "water rats", can let off steam here to their heart's content. Endless cycling and hiking paths along the Ammer offer a range of relaxing and sporty activities for all ages. For example, enjoy a long walk with a picnic on the riverbank. Everything is possible!
