The Safari Tents at Camping Groß-Eichen
The safari tents at Camping Groß-Eichen offer you plenty of space to relax with a total area of 36 m². The tents are suitable for up to 4 people and provide a cozy accommodation – unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the tents. Inside the tent, you'll find a small kitchenette with a seating area, a separate bedroom and a terrace. If required, a small child can also be accommodated. All bedding and kitchen utensils are provided – so you don't need to bring anything. The sanitary building with shower and toilet is just a stone's throw from the tent.
The facilities at Camping Groß-Eichen
At Camping Groß-Eichen, you'll experience a special mix of relaxation and closeness to nature. In the yoga room, you can regularly join yoga sessions and unwind. For your culinary creativity, herb pots with fresh herbs are available – just pick and enjoy! If you want to explore the surroundings, you can borrow a bicycle for free. And for a bit of a farm atmosphere, our three cute goats are always happy to visit.
The surroundings of Groß-Eichen, Hesse
Around the campsite, you'll find an idyllic landscape of forests, meadows, fields and paddocks. Walking and cycling paths that guide you through the Vogelsberg start right at Camping Groß-Eichen – ideal for hiking, cycling or horse riding. You can even climb the largest volcano in Central Europe here. On warm days, a swimming pool (approx. 10 km) or a swimming lake (approx. 15 km) provide a welcome refreshment. Horses, cows, sheep and goats graze in the surrounding meadows. With a bit of luck, you might spot deer, kingfishers or even the rare black stork. The half-timbered towns of Grünberg, Alsfeld or Lauterbach (10–25 km) are definitely worth a visit. Marburg and Fulda (each around 50 km) are also attractive destinations with lots of culture.
