General information
Let your thoughts wander or get active—at Campingplatz Böhmeschlucht, you’ve been enjoying a fantastic holiday with the whole family for over 50 years. If you don’t want to go without comfort and a roof over your head, you have the option to stay overnight in a camping pod.
Camping Pod
For about 2 years now, glamping accommodations have been available at Campingplatz Böhmeschlucht. The CampingPOD® is made from FSC / PEFC-certified wood, and its shape is reminiscent of the wooden houses of hobbits. The pod is a real space saver, because inside you'll find everything you need. In addition to its harmonious interior, the accommodation impresses with a dining area with a table and chairs, a living room with a comfortable sofa bed and TV, as well as an open kitchenette. The coffee machine fills the air with the fresh scent of coffee for a perfect start to the day. The fridge and kettle complete the furnishings. In addition to the sofa bed, there is also a double bed that can be used. Bed linen is provided in every accommodation. Furthermore, the nature lodges have a separate toilet room with a sink, mirror, and toilet, full electricity, multiple power outlets, good insulation, and heating as well. In summer, you can end your evenings on the terrace, looking up at the stars. The interior and exterior lighting make the pod extra cozy.
The facilities at Campingplatz Böhmeschlucht
The heart of the campsite is the "Böhmeschlucht" restaurant. It stands out for its home-style cuisine. On warm summer days, you can even have breakfast or dinner on the terrace. There is also a bakery, built in 2018, where you can treat your taste buds to oven-fresh offerings. Children and teenagers can let off steam in the play barn or on the playground. On hot summer days, the Böhme river offers a welcome and refreshing cool-down.
The surroundings of Bad Fallingbostel
There's plenty to explore around the campsite. From geocaching to amusement parks, the area offers a varied range of activities. There are cycling and hiking trails along the river, and canoe trips let you experience the landscape from a whole new perspective. If you prefer culture or the city, you can visit the surrounding cities of Hamburg, Hanover, or Bremen. In the neighboring town of Soltau, there is not only the famous amusement park "Heide Park", but also a designer outlet that makes the hearts of shopping lovers beat faster.
