About the beach houses

The beach house is suitable for 4 to 5 people and is situated on a quiet beach (strand access 2a), between the dunes and the sea. There are no other houses in front of or behind your beach house.

The houses are stylishly decorated with beautiful tones and lots of woodwork. There is a lounge area (with sofa bed), a dining area, an open kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and French doors to the veranda. The beach house has two bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and another with a bunk bed (the bottom bunk can be extended for a child up to 8 or 9 years old).

You can also enjoy your stay in spring and autumn; the beach house is well insulated, and the living room and bedrooms are equipped with a heater. You can also use the handcart, which is handy for transporting your things and groceries. The beach house is accessible via a dune path and a paved beach path. Parking is a 3-minute walk away.

The facilities

The beach houses are equipped with all modern conveniences: free WiFi, Smart TV, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, fridge, and a modern electric hob with extractor hood.

When you arrive at this glamping in The Hague, the beds are already made up and bath towels, hand towels, tea towel, and a wellness package (shower foam and body lotion) await you. The extensive coffee & tea box makes your arrival extra comfortable. Your holiday starts immediately!

As a guest of HaagseStrandhuisjes, you have free entry to Kijkduinpark, which is located directly behind the dunes. You can use the indoor pool with children's pool, children’s entertainment, playground, tennis courts free of charge, and for a fee: mini-golf, bike rental, launderette, etc. Within a 10-minute walk you’ll reach the cozy beach boulevard of Kijkduin with various restaurants. Little children can play on the play ship or at the Jutterskeet.

The surroundings of The Hague

Your beach house is located in the family seaside resort of Kijkduin, the peaceful beach of The Hague. Here you can enjoy space and tranquility by the sea, while being just a stone’s throw from all the amenities and attractions The Hague has to offer.

If you want to explore, it’s just a 15-minute drive or 25-minute bike ride (via a beautiful dune cycle path) to the historic center of The Hague. The city has a lot to offer: besides a lovely shopping center, there are great lunchrooms and restaurants, theaters, famous museums, and plenty of entertainment for all ages (Sealife, the Pier, Madurodam, etc). But of course, you can also just relax in peace at your beach house.
