Cities like Münster (about 65 km) with, among others, a beautiful Gothic town hall, the medieval cathedral (every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market on the town hall square), Picasso Museum and Coesfeld (about 29 km) with, among others, a glass museum, Walkenbrückentor (a remnant of the former city walls) and a golf course, are definitely worth a visit for some strolling and sightseeing.
