General information

This eco-suite (classic bell-shaped tent) covers 20 m² and accommodates three people, divided over a double bed and a single bed. The tent is a bell tent made of pure cotton, treated against fire, water, UV radiation, and mold, and stands on a 48 m² platform of Calabrian chestnut wood. The 360-degree public double sidewall lets you bring the outdoors in completely. Inside you will find a coconut mat carpet, minibar, fan, clothes rack, fan heater, kettle, dresser, nightstands, and chairs. All the furniture is handmade from natural material (reed) from Calabria. The 4 m² bathroom has a stone sink, a spruce interior, a teak washbasin, and a 90x90 cm shower with hot water, toilet, and eco-friendly soap.

In front of the tent there is a patio with a rattan lounge set. Every eco-suite also has a hammock and an outdoor water point with an adjustable spray head, supplied by spring water.

    The guest may cancel the booking at any time by notifying the management of I Giardini del Caramante in writing. Cancellations must be submitted by email via info@glamping-soverato.it, stating all booking details.

    The following cancellation fees apply:

    • No charges for cancellation from the booking date up to and including 30 days before arrival.
    • 30% of the booking amount for cancellation between 29 and 20 days before arrival.
    • 70% of the booking amount for cancellation between 19 and 10 days before arrival.
    • 100% of the booking amount for cancellation from 9 days before arrival.

    Any refund will be processed within 60 days after the cancellation date.

    The room and bathroom were very nice (though there was no bidet). We stayed here as a base for the Calabria Coast-to-Coast trek, and it was the only place that charged us for the hiker’s bag. As for the location, unfortunately, the glamping site is nestled among the apartment buildings on the outskirts of town, which significantly reduces its charm and the sense of being on vacation.

Abbiamo pernottato qui come base di partenza per il trekking kalabria coast to coast ed è stato l' unico che ci ha fatto pagare il sacchetto del camminatore. Per quanto riguarda la posizione, purtroppo il glamping si trova tra le palazzine della periferia del paese e questo ne riduce nettamente il fascino e il senso della permanenza.

    We stayed for a week at this Vero Glamping.
    The experience was very positive: the property fully embodies the spirit of glamping, with eco-friendly materials used for both the furnishings and the decor. Although it’s close to downtown and just a 5-minute walk from the beach, it’s very peaceful and quiet. The owner, Filippo, pampered us with excellent breakfasts and gave us valuable tips on lesser-known places to visit.

    Staying at Giardini del Caramante was a wonderful experience. The property is surrounded by greenery, yet located within the town of Soverato; it’s quiet, and it even gets cool in the evening. The tents are spacious and equipped with all the amenities.
    A special mention goes to Filippo, the manager of the property, who was incredibly helpful and kind. His passion for this business and for Calabria really shines through.
