Summary created out of 299 reviews
The campsite is situated on a hillside just outside Siena, with excellent accessibility via bus (stop at the entrance) and within cycling or walking distance of the city centre. Guests appreciate the swimming pool, the restaurant with pizzeria, and the friendly, multilingual reception. Sanitary facilities are described as clean and functional, though some installations are dated. The campsite offers a quiet, green atmosphere with plenty of shade, but many pitches are sloped and require levelling wedges.

Let's just say, you really had to look hard to find the view of Siena described there.
You're only allowed in the pool if you're wearing a swim cap. It would have been nice to see a note about this on the website. We’d booked 5 nights at €65 each, but left after 3 nights. Of course, we didn’t get a refund, despite the many listed shortcomings—which, naturally, you can’t see before check-in.
The campsites are okay—nice and spacious and shady, which is a plus. But that’s the only one.
The restroom facilities are ancient; it smelled like sewage, the faucets were rusty, some showerheads were missing, and the water would be hot for a moment, then cold just 30 seconds later. You also had to make sure the water went where it was supposed to... if you have long hair, you’ll need patience.
Washing dishes was also difficult—a broken faucet, water splashing everywhere...
This place definitely needs renovations.
Okay for a maximum of 2 nights, but no more than that!this is a translation, click here for the original

Spent a little over a week here with my family, including three teenagers. We rented a Villatent. It was very quiet during this time, the first week of July. Of course, there were the sounds of cicadas and pigeons, but it was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Siena. And yet, there’s a beautiful view of the “Torre” of El Campo. Nice, large pool. However, there are some very specific, silly rules. Swim caps are fine, and no diving, but if you splash around a bit too much or jump off the edge, you can count on being asked to leave. Great restaurant for pizzas in all kinds of flavors.

Villatent gehuurd.
