A nice campground for visiting Siena. The shower could use an upgrade. The water pressure was so strong it hurt. The campground is beautifully green!
There’s a bus stop on the street where the campground is located. At the front desk, they told me you can pay with a debit card. Unfortunately, you can’t pay with Maestro on the bus. I haven’t … had any problems with this in other cities in Italy. The bus driver wasn’t helpful, and I ended up getting a fine on the bus (€40). I understand that the campground can’t do anything about this, but they should update the information to state that you CAN’T pay with Maestro. I tried twice to tell the reception desk about this, but no one was there.this is a translation, click here for the original
Fijne camping voor het bezoeken van Siena. Douche mag vernieuwd worden. Straal was zo hard dat het pijn deed. Camping is mooi groen!
Busstop in de straat van camping. Bij receptie vertelde ze dat je met bankkaart kan betalen. Helaas kan je niet met Maestro betalen in bus. Hier eerder geen problemen mee gehad in andere steden in Italië. Buschauffeur hielp niet uiteindelijk boete gekregen in bus (€40). Snap dat camping hier niets aan kan doen maar informatie aanpassen dat je NIET met maestro kan betalen. Twee keer geprobeerd om dit tegen receptie te vertellen maar er was niemand aanwezig. -

We arrived as surprise guests for a 2-night stay in our RV without a reservation. The young lady at the front desk was very friendly; we could choose any available spot, and they provided everything you could possibly need. Guests are welcome to use the restroom facilities, etc. There’s a restaurant and a small shop right on site. Excellent bus … service to the Old Town; tickets can be purchased right at the front desk. Very reasonable pricing—thank you so much—we’d love to come back.

wir kamen als Überraschungsgast für 2 Übernachtungen mit dem Wohnmobil ohne Reservierung. Sehr freundliche junge Dame an der Rezeption; freie Platzwahl, Komplettversorgung was man halt so braucht. Sanitäranlagen etc. dürfen mitgenutzt werden. Ristorante und kleine Einkaufsgelegenheit direkt vor Ort. Exzellente Busanbindung in die Altstadt, Fahrkarten können gleich an der Rezeption erworben werden. Sehr faire Preisgestaltung, vielen lieben Dank - wir kommen gerne wieder.
