We had a wonderful vacation and really enjoyed our stay. There’s plenty of choice when it comes to food, and the quality of the food is truly excellent. Our tent was also nice, clean, and in a great spot.

However, there are a few areas that we think could be improved. There really aren’t enough lounge chairs by the pool. If you head to the pool after breakfast, there’s a good chance there won’t be any sun loungers left.

Also, the steep slopes at the campground took some getting used to. We didn’t find it to be a problem in the end, but it’s important to know that some accommodations are only accessible via steep slopes. For people with limited mobility, our location is absolutely not suitable. It would be nice if this were stated more clearly when booking.

We also found the parking to be a major drawback. Our car was often parked all the way down at the reception, which made for quite a walk to the tent. Upon arrival, we were greeted very warmly, and someone helped us carry all our luggage to the tent. We really appreciated that.

That’s precisely why it was such a shame that things went differently when we left. The day before, we had asked at the reception desk if we could get help with our luggage again. We were told that this wouldn’t be a problem and that we just needed to let them know our departure time. When we were ready to leave the next morning, however, no one was available after all, and we had to haul all our belongings to the car ourselves. Given the distance and the hills, that wasn’t a pleasant way to end an otherwise wonderful vacation.

Despite these issues, we had a wonderful vacation. With a few more lounge chairs and better organization regarding parking and luggage assistance, the experience would have been even better for us.
