Summary created out of 317 reviews

The park is appreciated for its fantastic location between Bardolino and Lazise, directly on Lake Garda with stunning sunsets. Guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, the two swimming pool complexes (including a new water paradise with slides), and the varied restaurants. However, the sanitary facilities are outdated and often lack toilet paper and soap, the wifi network is weak or absent, and the pitches are uneven and muddy when it rains. Additionally, some guests find the pitches too cramped and the terrain very hilly.

Unfortunately, our campsite didn't seem very clean—there were a lot of leaves that hadn't been cleared away for a long time. The campground, however, is very nice and has everything you need, and they take great care to keep the restrooms clean.

    ⭐️⭐️

This was our second year at Camping Cisano San Vito—and, unfortunately, also our last.

We had a better experience last year, but this time we were really disappointed with the standards—especially the cleanliness, the sanitary conditions, and the near-total lack of supervision at the campground.

The restrooms and shower facilities look worn out and are in desperate need of renovation. The restrooms simply aren’t cleaned often enough given the huge number of people who use them.

We fully understand that, unfortunately, some guests leave the restrooms in a state that isn’t the campground’s fault. But when you practically have to play “toilet bingo” to find a restroom that isn’t smeared with feces, the cleaning frequency is simply not high enough.

Furthermore, there is no hand soap at the restrooms. At a campground with so many people and shared restroom facilities, this is completely incomprehensible to us and very unhygienic. In the restroom and shower area, we also repeatedly encountered a strong odor of both cigarette smoke and marijuana.

The pool area was also unsatisfactory. There were large amounts of hair in the water, and overall, we felt there should have been a much greater focus on cleaning and hygiene.

And then there’s supervision—or rather, the lack thereof. We saw virtually no enforcement of the campground’s own rules. Hammocks and grills were set up right by the roads, people were shouting and playing loud music, and children were allowed to run wild all over other guests’ sites.

People were also driving remote-controlled cars among pedestrians and on the roads to such an extent that you had to watch out so as not to trip over them. Of course, it’s the parents’ responsibility to keep an eye on their children, but at a large campground, you’d also expect the staff to intervene when such behavior bothers or causes problems for other guests.

There is simply a lack of visible supervision and enforcement of the rules.

We camped in a tent, and our site was covered with rocks and Leca balls, which made for a really poor and impractical surface. At the same time, a washing machine was out of order for three days during our stay.

We don’t expect luxury when we camp. But we do expect clean restrooms, hand soap, proper maintenance, a clean pool area, and a campground where staff are present to ensure that the common rules are followed.

This was our second year at Cisano. There won’t be a third.

Attention, Italians: I'm writing today, August 10, 2026—this campground is strictly for foreigners. I spent a fortune, and the activity leaders only speak foreign languages—it's a waste of money.
