Camping Village Cavallino

Če izvzamem, da so nam pozabili vrniti eno ID od otrok in smo panično iskali ID 1 uro ko prikolici in kampu je bilo vse kot mora biti. WC in tuši ogrevani, pralnica perila delovala. Kar nekaj kamperjev iz SLO v času ''krompirjevih počitnic'', sicer pa čist, tih in urejen kamp z delujočo restavracijo, kjer smo jedli po razumnih cenah v oktobru. Bil … je edini kamp odprt na Jesolu in dobro voden! Priporočen za ogled Benetk, cca. 7km do postaje ''vodnega busa (vaporetto)''. We enjoyed our autumn stay at Camping Village Cavallino. The campsite is surrounded by beautiful nature, the staff are friendly, and the sanitary facilities are exceptionally clean and, most importantly for the colder months, very well heated. The 16A electrical hook-up is another big plus.

However, there are a few things that could be … improved.

Our pitch was quite uneven, with deep tyre ruts left by a previous guest whose vehicle had got stuck in the sand. We would expect the pitch to be levelled and properly prepared before the next guests arrive.

Another disappointment was the closure of the indoor soft play area on October 15th. We fully understand that the main season is over and certainly didn't expect entertainment or organised activities. However, during autumn, when evenings are long and cold and the weather can be rainy, an indoor play area is especially valuable for families with children. It's a real shame that this facility isn't available to guests staying outside the main season.

What I find particularly frustrating is the additional fee for booking directly through the campsite's website. Online reservations and online check-in help streamline the booking process and reduce administrative work for both the reservation team and reception staff. While I understand that maintaining an online booking system involves costs, I find it difficult to justify charging guests extra for choosing a process that also benefits the campsite. Direct online bookings should be encouraged, not discouraged by additional fees.

Overall, Camping Village Cavallino has a lot to offer, and we genuinely enjoyed our stay. With a little more attention to pitch maintenance, off-season facilities, and a fairer approach to online bookings, the guest experience could be even better. Read more Show less

The campground is beautifully situated right by the ocean; the food at the restaurant was very good, and the staff was always very friendly. The accommodations were very small but fine just for sleeping.
