    Cancellation Policy


    Reservations can only be cancelled in writing.

    The cancellation fee is 25% of the rent if cancelled up to eight weeks before the booked period (minimum € 115) and 50% of the rent if cancelled between eight and four weeks before the booked period (minimum € 115).

    For cancellation within four weeks before the booked period, the full rent is due.

    No refunds will be made for later arrival at the tent or earlier departure than booked.

    Cancellation fees can be reclaimed if you have cancellation insurance. Whether this works depends on the conditions of the insurance and the reason for cancellation.

    Cancellation/Cancellation by Europe Tents

    If Europe Tents can not offer the booked accommodation, the tenant will be informed immediately. You will be offered a suitable alternative without increasing the price. If you do not use this, you will receive your deposit and booking fee back within two weeks. Europe Tents is not obliged to do this in case of force majeure, such as declaring a state of emergency on the campsite, outbreak of infectious diseases that can be dangerous for humans and / or animals and imminent danger of flooding or forest fires.

The next 15% you pay no later than 8 weeks after booking and the remaining 70% you pay 8 weeks before arrival. If you book within 8 weeks before departure, you pay the total amount at once. In case of late payment Europe Tents has the right to cancel the reservation - after demand; You are then responsible for the cancellation costs. By careless payment, all costs are for your account.

    We arrived spontaneously without a reservation and that was no problem at all out of season. We even got a nice discount with the ACSI card - great! The campsite is very well-kept and clean. We were lucky enough to be in the front row, right by the water - really fantastic! Particularly practical: fresh water is available directly at the pitch. The sanitary building was always clean and tidy, and the water pressure in the showers was really good. In the high season, there might be a shortage of showers and toilets, but at our time of travel everything was absolutely relaxed. There is also a playground and a table tennis area, which we thought was great. Especially nice: barbecuing with a charcoal grill is allowed on the site. The location is really ideal: quietly situated by the water, but still not far from several bus stops. What's particularly great is that buses and trains in Luxembourg are free of charge - so we were able to make lots of trips very easily, e.g. to the Mullerthal, Luxembourg City or Vianden Castle. There are also shops nearby. All in all, a really great campsite - we would love to come back! 🏕 🚐

    Wir sind ganz spontan ohne Reservierung angereist und das war außerhalb der Saison überhaupt kein Problem. Mit der ACSI-Karte haben wir sogar noch einen schönen Rabatt bekommen – top! Der Campingplatz ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Wir hatten das Glück, in erster Reihe zu stehen, direkt am Wasser – wirklich traumhaft! Besonders praktisch: Frischwasser gibt es direkt am Stellplatz. Das Sanitärgebäude war immer sauber und ordentlich, und der Wasserdruck in den Duschen war richtig gut. In der Hochsaison könnte es eventuell etwas knapp mit Duschen und Toiletten werden, aber zu unserer Reisezeit war alles absolut entspannt. Es gibt auch einen Spielplatz und einen Tischtennisplatz, was wir super fanden. Besonders schön: Grillen mit einem Holzkohlegrill ist auf dem Platz erlaubt. Die Lage ist wirklich ideal: ruhig am Wasser gelegen, aber trotzdem nicht weit von mehreren Bushaltestellen entfernt. Besonders genial ist, dass Bus und Zug in Luxemburg kostenlos sind – so konnten wir viele Ausflüge ganz unkompliziert machen, z. B. ins Müllerthal, nach Luxemburg-Stadt oder zur Burg Vianden. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe vorhanden. Insgesamt ein wirklich toller Campingplatz – wir kommen gerne wieder! 🏕 🚐

    We received a tip of this campground from acquaintances. Camping Gritt is located 2 km from the highway. A perfect location as a transit campground to or from Spain. Friendly welcome by the owner. Fine spacious places along the river Sûre. The toilet room is a relief. Very neat. Newly constructed. And! nice and warm. These buildings are in the front and about 400 meters away. If you are at the back of the site, you have to be in good health because it is a bit of a tipple. A neat ACSI price including wifi and 5kW. Highly recommended. The restaurant looks attractively decorated. Now around Easter we got a table covered with a cheerful placemat with an Easter bunny with matching napkins. All attention was also paid to the food. Beautifully prepared plates and food whose vegetables were al dente. An excellent cook. Someone with love for his profession. After the checkout we were spoiled with a nice chocolate Easter egg. And of course there are areas for improvement. I also understand that you can't tackle everything at once. Maybe next time invested in new chairs / sofas in the restaurant.

    Wij kregen van kennissen een tip van deze camping. Camping Gritt ligt op 2 km van de snelweg. Een perfecte locatie als doorgangscamping naar of van Spanje. Vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenaar. Prima ruime plekken langs de rivier de Sûre. De toiletruimte is een verademing. Zeer netjes. Nieuw aangelegd. En! lekker warm. Deze gebouwen liggen vooraan en ong. 400 meter verderop. Als je achteraan op het terrein staat, moet je wel gezond zijn, want dan is het wel even tippelen. Een nette ACSI prijs inclusief wifi en 5kW. Echt een aanrader. Het restaurant ziet er sfeervol ingericht uit. Nu rond de Pasen kregen wij een tafel gedekt met een vrolijke placemat met een Paashaasje met bijpassende servetten. Ook aan het eten was alle aandacht aan besteed. Mooi opgemaakte borden en eten waarvan de groente beetgaar is. Een uitstekende kok. Iemand met liefde voor zijn vak. Na het afrekenen werden wij verwend met een lekker chocolade paaseitje. En natuurlijk zijn er nog verbeterpunten. Ook begrijp ik dat je niet alles in 1 keer kan aanpakken. Misschien dat er de volgende keer geinvesteerd wordt in nieuwe stoelen/banken in het restaurant.
