The cottages in the beautiful park are lovely; the campground is right across from the little river—lots of privacy, which is wonderful. The water is full of algae, so you can’t really swim. The green lawn isn’t mowed properly for the next campers—too bad, since it’s in such a prime spot. There are also no steps to get down to the little river, so you have to go through the nettles and slippery grass—a shame—and there are lots of hornets that sting you. The restaurant is closed for two weeks, and it’ll be closed for a few more weeks—very unfortunate. The restrooms are very nice—top-notch.

It's funny that we're practically the only ones here at this beautiful campground in early June. There are about 40–50 campsites, and only 5 are occupied.
