Waterlodge 6 - 6 persons

Was een fijne vakantie op deze dingen na.. Erg jammer dat het erg vies was.. kom aan en moet gelijk schoonmaken.. Erg stoffig, alles in de de keuken kastjes, laadjes, bestek, waren vies,ook in de magnetron.. Leren bank was kapot, oorwatjes, haar elastieken laggen in het gras.. Hoop volgende keer een schonere huis aan te treven voor dat geld... Positieve is dat de volgende dag gelijk de buiten lamp vervangen werd na een mail contact te hebben gehad.

We stayed in a large house with 5 bedrooms and 8 people in our extended family. The house looks nicely designed from the outside, the living room furnishings are nice, the kitchen had decent tools and the bedrooms were spacious. However, it was unacceptably dirty; dead bugs and cobwebs everywhere, outside tables and chairs were filthy and a previous resident had thrown eggs (!!) at the windows of one of the bedrooms which was not cleaned. It also lacked basic functionality. No extractor fans worked in the bathrooms and windows don't open. There are no shades on some of the windows (long kitchen one, tall stairwell) so it gets hot. Our house had air conditioning via the heat pump which should have helped to reduce the temperature in the bedrooms upstairs but did not. One of the bedrooms with an odd shaped window had a curtain that was partially attached via duct tape, ripped and totally non-functional. There were lights around the roof shining down to illuminate around the property but you can't turn them off so they shine into the bedroom. When we talked to the reception, they did seem shocked about the egged window situation, the AC not working and the non-functional curtain that was duct taped. They sent maintenance to our house very quickly and they gave us a velcro curtain replacement for the curtain but couldn't do anything about the AC situation and had no fans to offer. They said they would send someone to clean the egged window but that never happened. We would never go back.

Wir waren positiv überrascht vom EuroParcs Zuiderzee und können die vielen schlechten Bewertungen ehrlich gesagt nicht nachvollziehen. Natürlich sind die Unterkünfte nicht die allerneuesten – aber genau das spiegelt sich ja auch im Preis wider. Für uns war das absolut in Ordnung. Der Park an sich war super sauber und gepflegt, was uns sehr wichtig ist. Unser Bungalow war zwar schon etwas abgewohnt, aber das war wirklich kein Problem. Wir haben uns einfach noch ein zusätzliches Bettwäschepaket geben lassen und damit z. B. die Couch abgedeckt – und schon war es für uns gemütlich. Mit ein bisschen Eigeninitiative kann man sich den Aufenthalt leicht so angenehm machen, wie man es möchte. Das Schwimmbad hat uns persönlich nicht so überzeugt, hier könnte man sicher etwas modernisieren. Dafür hätte ich eigentlich einen Stern abgezogen – aber insgesamt finde ich, dass der Park eine deutlich bessere Gesamtbewertung verdient hat. Darum gebe ich 5 Sterne. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, hatten eine gute Zeit und würden definitiv wiederkommen! Noch eine Sache: Wer gerne an den Strand möchte - mit dem Auto dauert es nach Zandvoort doch 1 1/2 Stunden. Wir waren innerhalb von 7 Tagen trotzdem zweimal dort. Aber ansonsten gibt es so viel drum herum zu entdecken.

Die Zimmer waren ganz okay. Manchmal glaube ich andere Nationen haben ein anderes Verständnis von Sauberkeit. Es war nicht dramatisch aber es gibt definitiv Luft nach oben. Die Parkanlage hingegen macht einen gepflegten Eindruck, es gibt Unterhaltungsangebote, ein großen Spielplatz, einen Streichelzoo, ein Schwimmbad. Besonders ist zu erwähnen das der Walbi nur 5 Auto min. entfernt ist. Elburg hat eine sehr schöne, sehr kleine Innenstadt. Das Veluwemeer fanden wir jetzt nicht so spektakulär, für eine kleine Bootsfahrt reicht es aber alle mal.
