While you sip your morning coffee, you can watch the boats glide by. In the evening you end the day on the roof terrace with a drink and a beautiful sunset – you’ll have front-row seats.

Inside, large windows treat you to wide views over the water. The cosy living room has a comfortable lounge area and a smart TV – there’s no channel package, so bring your own Google Chromecast if you like to stream your favourite series. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a combi-microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster. Cooking a relaxed dinner is a breeze here.

The houseboat has two inviting bedrooms, each with a double bed (160x200), bedside tables and blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep. Travelling with a baby? There’s a folding baby bed (60x120 cm) and a high chair ready for you, so you can pack a little lighter. The modern bathroom comes with a shower, toilet and bathroom furniture with mirror.

Outside you’ll have plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air. In the garden by the houseboat there’s a garden set for four people – perfect for a leisurely breakfast or a barbecue by the water. A staircase takes you up to the sunny rooftop terrace with two loungers, where you can relax, sunbathe and soak up the panoramic views over one of Friesland’s most beautiful marinas.

Your car can stay close by: you have your own private parking space in the marina car park. From this unique base in Offingawier, you can explore Friesland in the best possible way – on the water. Rent a sloop or sailing boat directly in the marina and head out onto the Sneekermeer, a true water sports hotspot. Prefer to stay on land? The cosy beach club in the marina is the place for lunch, drinks and dinner, and in the surrounding area you’ll find plenty of authentic Frisian towns to discover.
