The whole place is a huge building site. The constant noise of excavators, vibrating plates and the beeping of construction vehicles reversing has nothing to do with relaxation. You can only eat or linger outside when there is a thunderstorm (then the construction work is finished early. Every time you wipe the table, the rags are black with dust. Campertoillette can be emptied at one gazs and rinsed with water at another. I have never rated a pitch but I have never experienced anything like it. Vacation on a large construction site...in the middle of it instead of just being there.

We were with the motorhome over Whitsun 2026 on the actually very nice place. Unfortunately, almost all the pitches have been replaced by bungalows... Earning money seems to be more important... So we had a pitch on the sports field, crammed together and cramped. That brings us back to earning money... The way to the wash house was a disgrace. Over pallets, uneven and completely without lighting. The wash house was also simply overwhelmed with so many campers and therefore not exactly clean. For 4 nights 400,- € is already steep and then shower tickets extra... This is really not to be recommended. Otherwise a beautiful spot, although the campsite can't do anything about the beach, which belongs to the municipality. You don't have to go there anymore. Too bad but that's not how it works.

We had booked a 2 person apartment, which according to the description is barrier-free. First of all the positive. The location is great. You can look out over the Ijsselmeer from the apartment. The furnishings are modern. The supermarket on site has reasonable prices. The bicycle storage room is huge and there are sockets everywhere, but you should only use the ramp there in dry weather as it is extremely slippery. We took the wheelchair and bike down in the elevator, much safer. There is a lot of construction going on and so the paths are dirty and there are diggers etc. This is not so nice for families. The apartment is very small, there is little storage space, so that suitcases, for example, end up back in the car. Cooking is also difficult due to the size. The air conditioning switches off after about 90 minutes, which is really annoying when it's warm. Now a few words about accessibility. It is not available. The room is too small for a rollator and impossible for a wheelchair. Why is this written in the description? We disabled people rely on such things and our vacation was extremely limited as a result. It really annoys me.
