Small living, great enjoyment. The Smûk Fjildhuske is an atmospheric house for 2-4 people in the middle of the Frisian landscape. Perfect for a family or two couples. Inside you'll find a comfortable double bed and a cozy bunk bed nook with doors. Enjoy underfloor heating, a bright interior with lots of wood, and a beautiful view through the large windows. Cooking is possible in the little kitchen or outside over an open fire. The house has its own shower and toilet; made-up beds and fresh linen are ready for you. Outside awaits a wooden deck with panoramic views over the meadows and your own wood-fired hot tub. Ideal for an evening under the stars, with a good book or a fire going. Or set out on the water with a Smûk Sloep across the Tjeukemeer. Here, everything revolves around togetherness, peace, and simplicity.

    Was a wonderful experience: beautiful to see and be there. Cozy together, good food together, cooking on the firebowl - dogs cozy with Femke. Relaxed sitting along the waterfront, nice quiet spot. Cows, horses in the meadow and in the sky lots of different birds spotted! Even a stork passed by on the meadow, fortunately not landed for us 😉. In the evening relaxed in the hot tub. Slept wonderfully, in the morning enjoyed the birds and work sounds in the background - then it's nice when you don't have to do anything! A great space in the farmhouse to stay with not so nice weather or for just moment for yourself. Store provided with everything - that's all you need. Smûk spot, highly recommended****

    Was een prachtige beleving: mooi om te zien en er te zijn. Gezellig met elkaar, lekker samen gegeten, koken op de vuurschaal - hondjes gezellig met Femke. Ontspannen langs de waterkant zitten, mooi rustig plekje. Koeien, paarden in de wei en in de lucht heel veel verschillende vogels gespot! Zelfs een ooievaar kwam voorbij op het weiland, voor ons gelukkig niet geland 😉. 's Avonds relaxed in de Hottub. Heerlijk geslapen, 's morgens genoten van de vogeltjes en de werkgeluiden op de achtergrond - dan ligt het lekker als je niets moet! Een geweldige ruimte in de boerderij om te verblijven met minder mooi weer of voor zomaar momentje voor jezelf. Winkeltje van alles voorzien - meer heb je niet nodig. Smûk plekje, een aanrader****

    Beautiful location with a wonderful view of the farm and animals, hot tub and hot shower. We absolutely loved their little shop full of handy supplies (eggs, cereal, snacks, beers, wines etc) - all of good quality. We felt fortunate to take one of the boats out to explore the canals - quiet waterways and pretty setting. Walking trails with lots of wildlife were close by, stunning sunsets, and a water-side pub with good outdoor seating - truly a beautiful setting to relax and recharge. Just know (in typical Dutch style) that the cabins/tents are relatively close to one another. The hosts Crista and Gert made the stay wonderful - very helpful, considerate and customer-first. Highly recommend for couples and family stays,

    Super location! Lovely in nature with the animals and a nice hot tub there! Check out their site for more information! An outdoor shower at your huske or rather a real shower (is not mentioned on the site) but there are showers available in the farm! Super convenient! We have enjoyed thanks! You guys are super!

    Super locatie! Heerlijk in de natuur met de dieren en een lekkere hottub erbij! Bekijk zeker hun site voor meer informatie! Een buiten douche bij je je huske of toch liever een echte douche ( staat niet vermeld op de site ) maar er zijn douches aanwezig voor in de boerderij! Super handig! Wij hebben genoten bedankt! Jullie zijn super!

    We came for a weekend with our little camper and enjoyed this place. The outdoor kitchen, neat outdoor bathroom and sophok, the animals, the view, the well-stocked self-service store (brilliant!), the beautiful surroundings and the friendly welcome made for a nice stay. There were also fire pits, a hot tub, sups and canoes available and you can even rent electric sloops. The original giga cowshed has been transformed into a nice furnished living room with separate seating areas. All created with love and attention to detail. We will be back!

    Wij kwamen een weekend met ons campertje en hebben genoten van deze plek. De buitenkeuken, nette buitenbadkamer en sophok, de dieren, het uitzicht, de goedgevulde zelfservice winkel (briljant!), de mooie omgeving en het vriendelijke ontvangst zorgden voor een fijn verblijf. Verder waren er vuurplaatsen, een hottub, sups en kano’s beschikbaar en kun je zelfs elektrische sloepen huren. De oorspronkelijke giga koeienstal is omgetoverd tot leuk ingerichte woonkamer met aparte zitjes. Alles met liefde en oog voor detail gecreëerd. We komen terug!
