The Smûk Thuskes are especially suited in spring for birdwatchers and nature lovers among us. The view from the Thuskes over the Frisian meadows is ideal for spotting Black-tailed Godwits, various butterflies, sparrows, lapwings, common redshanks, and swallows, as they live, fly, and nest. In the summer, you can enjoy the wide view or cool off by the water. In autumn and winter, a woodstove provides cozy warmth. With heated beds, it stays wonderfully warm even at night. Whether you come for birdwatching, summer fun, or a cozy winter stay, the Thuskes offer a special nature experience year-round.

The tent houses are for about 2 to 4 people, with a fantastic view through a large window of the beautiful nature and a little woodstove for heating. The tent houses are nice and bright and full of character. There is a comfy bed and a fun built-in bunk bed.

It is a combination between a house and a tent. The benefits of a tent: you hear the sounds of nature, birds, rain tapping on the canvas, but the bottom is wooden so you don't have to worry about drafts, and there is a lovely woodstove, so it's nice and warm, with beautiful authentic French doors.
