Summary created out of 206 reviews
The park is beautifully located in the heart of the Veluwe forests and offers many activities for families with children. Guests particularly appreciate the swimming pool with slides, the spacious pitches, the entertainment team and the horse riding facilities. However, the atmosphere at the park generates mixed reactions: several visitors report disturbances from certain guests, noise nuisance in the evenings and insufficient enforcement of rules. Staff and service also receive varying reviews, with complaints about unfriendliness and slow responses. The restaurant and facilities are seen as pricey and sometimes subpar, and opening hours outside the high season are disappointing.

Great campground, super-friendly staff, and excellent service. Nice atmosphere at the campground. Dog-friendly—our dog had a great vacation, too. Freshly baked croissants, baguettes, and more, plus a good supermarket. All in all, top-notch!

Just got back from a week in Samoza. A very kid-friendly and dog-friendly campground. Had a lovely drink and meal at Crand Café Saxenburg; friendly staff. We rented a private chalet. Z85. It had just woken up from hibernation. Unfortunately, it hadn’t undergone any spring cleaning. Upon arrival, there was a very musty smell. Cobwebs everywhere, including spiders. Curtains and lamps were covered in dust. An overflowing vacuum cleaner full of dog hair was sitting in the closet next to our bed, along with a sour-smelling mop set. The comforters were filthy, with bloodstains and spider droppings. (The cleaning ladies brought us clean ones.) Under the beds were cushions from some lounge set that was no longer there. There was no access to the garden shed. The listing advertised a gas barbecue as being available. However, you had to buy the gas cylinder yourself. In addition, we had a 140 bed for the two of us, and the tableware had clearly been pieced together over the years. It lacked uniformity, and some pieces were missing. The cutting board had clearly been used extensively. In short, owner, put more love and passion into this. Then people will go home feeling good and they’ll come back. The price-to-quality ratio is disheartening.

Zojuist terug gekomen van een weekje Samoza. Een erg kinderrijke en hond vriendelijke camping. Crand café Saxenburg heerlijk geborreld en gegeten, vriendelijk personeel. We hebben een particuliere chalet gehuurd. Z85. Deze is zo uit de winterslaap ontwaakt. Helaas geen voorjaars schoonmaak beleefd. Bij aankomst een zeer muffe geur aanwezig. Overal spinnenwebben incl. Spinnen.

A beautiful campground surrounded by nature, with spacious and clean accommodations on a spacious site, and well-maintained facilities. There was quite a bit of noise in the evenings (during peak season), but I didn’t find that to be a drawback or a problem, and it certainly wasn’t really loud. I’d definitely recommend it.
