Do you like comfort and convenience, but still want to be outside? On a beautiful spot in the middle of the forest on the Veluwe and close to the facilities of Camping Samoza you can rent a luxurious Veluwe Lodge. In this luxurious and large safari tent, you can fully enjoy the outdoors combined with the necessary comfort and a touch of luxury! In the Veluwe Lodge you sleep in a comfortable bed, you have your own bathroom with large walk-in shower, a complete kitchen with dishwasher and microwave and a beautiful spacious deck terrace! The lodge can be opened completely at the front, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoors at Camping Samoza! The Lodges are not accessible by car, because they are located on a mountain in the middle of the forest. You park the car at the bottom of the mountain and then use the wagon to bring your things to the Lodge.

    We’ve just spent two weeks at Samoza. All in all, a great campground with very little to complain about! The campground is well-maintained, the restrooms are cleaned thoroughly and often enough, and there are plenty of activities for both kids and the whole family. We weren’t quite as impressed with the pool area, though. The pool and the slides are great. Unfortunately, there aren’t many lounge chairs, and on hot days, almost all of them are claimed within five minutes of opening by regular guests who then stay there all day. There’s also a huge amount of dirt, grass, and tree debris that gets tracked throughout the entire pool area—both indoors and outdoors—by people’s feet. This makes the place look very unkempt. A daily pass with the leaf blower and mopping a bit more often would solve a lot of the problem!

    All in all, a great campground for the whole family. It is a bit crowded and noisy, but that’s to be expected at a large campground.

    Twee weken Samoza achter de rug. Al met al een prima camping waarop weinig aan te merken is! De camping goed verzorgd, sanitair wordt goed en vaak genoeg schoongemaakt, veel activiteiten voor zowel kinderen als het hele gezin. Zwembad vonden wij wel wat minder. Het bad en de glijbanen zijn super. Helaas vrij weinig bedjes die op hete dagen 5 minuten na openingstijden bijna allemaal geclaimd zijn door de vaste gasten die vervolgens ook de hele dag blijven. Verder enorm veel grond, gras en boomafval wat in het hele zwembadgebied, zowel binnen als buiten, door de voetjes meegenomen wordt. Hierdoor ziet het er zeer onverzorgd uit. Elke dag een rondje met de bladblazer en wat vaker dweilen lost al veel op!

    Al met al, topcamping voor het hele gezin. Wel wat druk en lawaaierig maar dat hoort erbij op een grote camping.

    For the second year in a row, we had a wonderful vacation at Samoza. There are so many fun activities organized, but the Dream Flight really stood out for us. Our kids are still talking about it. A big thumbs-up to the entertainment team—you guys really make a difference!

    I’ve been coming to this campground for 30 years now and always enjoy it. But this year, I wanted to write a review for the amazing entertainment team. During the weeks my grandchildren were there, they did a fantastic job—especially the “little” lady, Bibi, who was absolutely amazing. The rest of the team was great, too!
