We spent a week at a campsite with luxurious private restroom facilities. The site was beautiful, and aside from the cleanliness and the price (1,200 euros in July), the private restroom facilities—which included a shower and dishwasher—were very pleasant. In general, the staff shortage is noticeable everywhere, which is why we’re deducting two stars. Cleanliness—especially at the pool—could be significantly improved; there were no checks to enforce the rules at the pool or the indoor playground, and the café was permanently closed. As is typical at all campgrounds, the snack bar isn’t really for gourmets, and we weren’t able to try the restaurant due to high occupancy. However, the quiet and well-maintained campsites, the petting zoo, and the playgrounds for the children are worth highlighting. The staff is very friendly, and there are plenty of activities for the little ones. Due to the campsite’s location, however, we would prefer other campsites in the Netherlands.

All in all, a great campground. This year (at the start of summer vacation), there were a lot of older people, some of whom had brought their grandchildren along.
The campground was far from full, and there were quite a few RVs on the fields.
In the restrooms, they’ve set up the push-button faucets for washing dishes in a strange way. Every 4 seconds, you have to press the button again to get another 4 seconds of water (probably to save water), but it’s really annoying. Showers are limited to 6 minutes, which is fine in itself.
The youth club was closed due to disturbances. Furthermore, the owner was known for his strict rules, but since his son has taken over the business, the rules have become more flexible. (Let’s just say they’ve been relaxed.)
The prices for ice cream and such are steep. Kids’ soft-serve €1.95 / cone €2.95.
The smallest cup of soft-serve was €2.00, a sundae €3.95.

The surroundings are beautiful, close to the Veluwe, near the heathlands, and near Apeldoorn or Barneveld.

Kinder softijs €1.95 / oblihoorn €2.95.
Kleinste bakje softijs was €2.00 , sunday €3.95..
