There was no Wi-Fi at our campsite. We had to search for the electrical hookup, which turned out to be at the neighbors’ site, and the cable had to be run through the hedge. There was no private water tap; you had to find one, and it was overgrown with nettles. The hedges weren’t trimmed, and the grass wasn’t mowed. The restrooms were about 50 meters inside; half the showers were broken—you had to pay extra to use them—and they weren’t clean. The lake is very dirty with algae; it’s barely possible to get in to swim. There’s a lot of trash and rocks on the little beach. The pool is dirty, and anyone can climb over the fence to go swimming on their own. In short, the place could use better cleaning and maintenance.
Oh, and I don’t think my review will be posted on the website—it only shows the 9s and 10s there.this is a translation, click here for the original

The campground is beautifully located
. It’s a basic site with only electricity; water must be obtained from the water fountains, and there isn’t even a station where you can dispose of gray water.
The washhouse is very dirty and showing its age.
The pool is dirty—cans, bottles, pizza boxes—and there’s no supervision; teenagers are jumping over the fence (I think they’re locals). Then there’s the beach—it’s a total mess, full of trash, and it isn’t even raked.
So, all in all, a solid 5 out of 5.
The location is great, but everything else is lacking.this is a translation, click here for the original
Also alles zusammen eine glatte 5
Die Lage super aber der Rest mangelhaft -

The only thing the campground has going for it is its location by the lake. Unfortunately, the operator seems to be resting on its laurels. My minimum expectations are actually that you should be able to use the entire plot and drive your car with a trailer or your RV onto the plot without damage, and also drive it off the site without damage upon departure. At €140 for Friday through Sunday, this is only possible to a limited extent here. The access road is already very narrow for a 13-meter combination, the paths are very narrow due to overgrown hedges and shrubs, and unfortunately littered with veeeery deep potholes. On top of that, it had apparently rained heavily in the days leading up to our arrival, so the potholes were filled with water and the entire site was very muddy. The plots are only usable to a limited extent due to untrimmed hedges and other vegetation (mostly meter-high stinging nettles). The power cord had to be thrown over an untrimmed hedge to reach the power pole. The exit is even much narrower than the entrance. It was a matter of centimeter precision for a long trailer combination. The situation wasn’t made any easier by pushy permanent mobile home residents who didn’t keep their distance and nearly ran over the back of the woman directing traffic behind the trailer.
Conclusion: Here, they cash in big on the beautiful lakeside location without investing in the access roads or lots.this is a translation, click here for the original

Please don't book there!!
We were there until yesterday and cut our vacation short.
The pictures online look great, but they're definitely 10 years old.
The restroom facilities are totally run-down, and half the showers are broken.
The place is totally neglected.
The pool is dirty, and there's no staff in sight.
The restaurant and pool bar are only open on weekends.
And the much-hyped beach is a disaster. No one is there because the entire beach is littered with duck droppings. There’s trash everywhere, and you can even find barbed wire in the sand.
Absolutely terrible place. We let the pictures blind us.this is a translation, click here for the original

We spent a week at the campground with our dog in June and had a wonderful time. I can’t understand all the negative reviews! Sure, the grass on the site could have been mowed better and some hedges had grown tall, but I’m sure there are worse things... During our stay, the restrooms and all the sanitary facilities were clean and were cleaned regularly.
The view of the lake was gorgeous, and if you’re out in nature, you have to expect that geese will leave plenty of “gifts” behind ;-)...
Price-wise, the campsite was perfectly fine, and the swimming pool was an absolute highlight on hot days! If you’re expecting a permanent lounge chair, you’re simply in the wrong place—do outdoor pools even have free lounge chairs???
There is one minor downside, though—it’s a shame you couldn’t buy bread rolls in the morning. But you could bike to the neighboring campground in just a few minutes or take the cute ferry over to Rheden... so we can definitely see ourselves going back there again!!!this is a translation, click here for the original

First off: it’s not all bad. You can definitely have a nice time here at some of the campsites. We were in the 500 area, and the sites were okay—spacious and bordered by hedges. However, there were hardly any water hookups...The nearest restroom building, as described in other reviews, was absolutely terrible. No hot water for washing up, and to get up there, you have to climb without a handrail. There’s a much better one a bit further away—but you have to be sure-footed to get there, too. The staff is consistently friendly! But neither the facilities nor the amenities listed on the website—such as a supermarket or fresh bread—match reality. All the unfinished construction sites don’t help either… Too bad! The location is great.
