Summary created out of 597 reviews

The park enjoys a beautiful location on the Rhederlaagse Meer, with direct access to the water and plenty of cycling opportunities in the surrounding area. Guests appreciate the friendly reception staff, the swimming pool, and the spacious pitches separated by hedges. At the same time, there are many complaints about neglected maintenance: outdated and dirty sanitary facilities, unmown grass, overgrown stinging nettles, and poorly maintained paths. The beach is often covered with goose droppings, facilities such as restaurants and bars are frequently closed, and various technical amenities (electricity, wifi, water connections) do not function properly.

    Resort Rhederlaagse Meren
We were here in April. Unfortunately, we don’t have much positive to say about this campground.
Overall, the place is showing its age. Access to the reception area is difficult with a motorhome or trailer. To check in, you have to park on the street—if there’s even a parking spot available. Otherwise, it’s difficult to do so without obstructing traffic.
The site itself was spacious, but the ground was very soft. Of course, it was only April and it had rained a lot beforehand. Still, the areas where vehicles are parked could be equipped with a firmer surface. My wheel chocks had sunk in so deep that I literally had to pull them out of the ground.
The restroom facilities were our biggest complaint. They looked unkempt and were quite cold. Toilet paper wasn’t provided due to the risk of theft. Anyone who isn’t prepared might be in for an unpleasant surprise here. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed of this when we checked in.
The site also seemed quite untidy. However, there was a large construction site on the grounds during our stay. Such work must, of course, be carried out and can’t always be avoided.
The facility actually has great potential. The surroundings are beautiful, and we also liked the lake. This makes it all the more regrettable that the overall impression was not convincing.
Unfortunately, another stay here is out of the question for us.

    Resort Rhederlaagse Meren

We were there for a week; the vacation home was okay!
    The house’s location was fine!
Unfortunately, the appliances in the house were junk!
    The pool area was excellent!
The kids’ playground was okay; the restaurant “Het Hof” was outrageously expensive for the quality of the food!
The pool bar and sports bar were never open, despite the nice weather!

It’s okay to go there once for a week, but we wouldn’t go a second time—there are nicer places with more activities for kids!

Waren eine Woche da , Ferienhaus okay !
    Lageplatz des Hauses inordnung!
Elektrogeräte im Haus leider Schrott !
    Poolanlage hervorragend !

We spent a weekend there with our dogs on a campsite right by the lake. The hedges were trimmed, and we liked the campground in general. The restroom building is a bit dated, but we’ve seen worse. The lady at the kiosk is very courteous and helpful. We’ll definitely come back for another weekend.
