What you should know about the park

The Bosgraaf is the ideal base for nature lovers and peace seekers on the Veluwe. Surrounded by forests and heathlands, the glamping offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking. On the park itself there is a heated outdoor pool, where young and old can relax. For the children there is a large playground and various activities are organized during the high season. There is also a shop/snackbar, providing you with all the conveniences during your stay! The Restaurant is temporarily closed.

Veluwepark de Bosgraaf is situated in a beautiful wooded location on the Veluwe, ideal for walking and cycling. The park is undergoing extensive development with new, luxurious accommodations that are modernly furnished with amenities such as air conditioning and hot tubs. Guests appreciate the large playground, the swimming pool, and the friendly, helpful staff. However, there are points of concern: construction work causes disturbance with noise and vacant plots, guests complain about poor communication beforehand, and the swimming pool regularly has technical issues with water being too cold.

    As relaxing as they advertise? No.

    Cottage 840 is literally right next to a large construction site, with a lot of noise from workers and machinery. In our opinion, this isn’t clearly mentioned on the website. And it wasn’t mentioned when we booked so far in advance.
    Because of this, we couldn’t sit outside in peace during the week … either. Our pet became anxious from the noise of the large machines driving by.

    In addition, there were several issues: broken chairs, a large tear in the couch, a cottage that wasn’t really clean, extremely poor internet (resulting in a Smart TV that worked poorly or not at all), no regular TV channels, and a soundbar that didn’t work. The smoke detector even went off while I was taking a shower.

    On Friday and Saturday nights, there was loud music from a party at the park’s entrance. This could still be clearly heard around midnight, even though the park’s own rules state that sound amplification equipment is not allowed after 11:00 p.m.

    For a park that markets itself as a place to relax, this stay was unfortunately very disappointing. Especially for the full price (+/- 225 euros per night) that you still have to pay!

    Ontspannen zoals ze adverteren? Nee.

    Huisje 840 staat letterlijk naast een grote bouwput, met veel lawaai van werklui en machines. Dit wordt naar onze mening niet duidelijk op de website vermeld. En stond er nog niet toen wij zover van te voren boekten.
    Doordeweeks konden we hierdoor ook niet rustig buiten zitten. Ons huisdier werd angstig van het lawaai van de grote machines die langsreden.

    Daarnaast waren er meerdere gebreken: kapotte stoelen, een grote scheur in de bank, een niet echt schoon huisje, extreem slecht internet (waardoor slecht of niet werkende SmartTV), geen normale tv zenders en een soundbox die niet werkte. Ook ging de rookmelder zelfs af tijdens het douchen.

    Vrijdag- en zaterdagavond was er harde muziek van een feest bij de ingang van het park. Dit was rond 00.00 uur nog duidelijk te horen, terwijl de eigen parkregels aangeven dat geluidsversterkende apparatuur na 23.00 uur niet meer is toegestaan.

    Voor een park dat zich profileert als plek om te ontspannen, viel dit verblijf helaas erg tegen. Zeker voor de volle prijs (+/- 225 euro per nacht) die je nu alsnog gewoon betaald!

    We had a wonderful stay with two adults and a baby! The cottage was beautifully decorated, neat, and clean. We brought our own crib for our baby; it fit in our bedroom, but there wasn’t a lot of space for it. Tip: bring extra toilet paper and dishwasher tablets.

    We had a cottage with a hot tub and sauna and made good use of them.

    We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad met 2 volwassenen en een baby! Het huisje was mooi ingericht, netjes en schoon. We hadden een eigen bedje mee voor onze baby, deze paste bij ons op de slaapkamer maar er was niet heel veel ruimte voor. Tip om extra wc papier en vaatwastabletten mee te nemen.

    We hadden een huisje met hottub en sauna en hebben hier veel gebruik van gemaakt.

    Het park is erg netjes en mooi. Fijn dat je veel digitaal kan regelen en niet hoeft in te checken bij de receptie.
