Beautiful location. It’s just a short bike ride to Valkenburg, a castle garden, the Geul River, and a forest café with a playground. You can go on lovely walks (both short and long). It feels just like you’re abroad. We’d love to come back to this region again. The entertainment program (6 days a week) was a lot of fun for our kids. They came up with some really fun arts and crafts projects. We found the campground to be quite expensive—both the campsite itself and, for example, participating in bingo, which costs 15 euros per person to play. You also have to pay to use the shower. It’s about 24 cents per minute. The costs add up quickly with our girls’ long hair. We were on a “comfort” site and had plenty of shade—which was really nice! However, we did look out onto a parking lane.

Mooie ligging.

A cool, cozy, small-scale campground, quiet and centrally located. Right next to several fun cycling and mountain biking trails. Activities for the kids are simple but really fun; the restroom facilities are neat and clean; the pool is great for cooling off; waste disposal is well-organized and easy to navigate; and the restaurant serves tasty food in a clean setting. In short, it’s a great place to stay for a few days.
