We stayed in a Berghem 4 cottage. The location and the view are beautiful. But we had expected more from the cottage. It was already very small for two adults and a baby. There was barely any room for the travel crib. It didn’t fit in the bedroom with the double bed. It barely fit in the other bedroom with the two single beds, but that meant I was practically lying next to my daughter in the travel crib (that’s how cramped it was). The single bed wasn’t comfortable: very hard and very narrow. The double bed was quite saggy. The outdoor lounge set was very low and also saggy, which wasn’t comfortable for either me (who was pregnant) or my mother (60+). There’s a nice restaurant at the park, but the food was pretty pricey (2 salads, pancakes for my daughter, and 2 Cokes for €55 😧). There’s also a swimming pool, but it was packed due to the sweltering heat. Plus, there was almost no shade by the pool or at the playground. In short: we had expected more from this place.

We had a wonderful vacation at Gulperberg. We had an excellent stay in one of the mobile homes. It’s a very nice campground with a restaurant and a swimming pool. It was really pleasant given the temperatures we had there.

    The food was good, too.

Camping isn't what it used to be... it's more about the cabins than the campground itself

Nice playground and a great patio with a great menu for us Amsterdammers, haha. It’s just a shame that you can’t buy a day pass if you just want to go for a quick swim.
