Bos Lodge - 8 persons

Wir haben hier unseren ersten Winterurlaub verbracht. Es war mega! Personal freundlich, Kinderanimation super, Indoorspielplatz mega. Das Waschhaus war super kuschelig warm. Davor hatte ich tatsächlich etwas Sorge. Das Hallenbad kommt auf den Bildern schöner und größer rüber als es tatsächlich ist. Die Kinder fanden es großartig, gar keine Frage. Aber ich fand das Wasser zu kalt. Und auch die Raumtemperatur fand ich kühl. Kein Wunder sieht man Erwachsene, die mit Kleidung auf den Stühlen sitzen und auf die Kinder warten. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsdusche, was völlig ok ist. Aber es fehlt eine Ablage für Duschgel etc oder für die Brille (was ich persönlich wichtiger finde). Wir haben uns mit der Brille abgeduscht. Was echt ungünstig ist. Außerdem gibt es dort überhaupt keine Steckdose um einen Föhn dranzustecken. Es gibt zwei feste Föhne, die natürlich total belagert werden. Ich kam an einen ran, der allerdings ständig aus ging und zudem kam nur kalte Luft. Was für Menschen mit langen Haaren total bescheiden ist. Ich bin letztlich mit nassen Haaren ins Waschhaus gelaufen, um dort mit meinem Föhn die Haare zu föhnen - übrigens gibt es dort auch nur eine einzige Steckdose! Im Wohnwagen hätte ich ihn nicht anstecken können, weil mir dann die Sicherung rausgeflogen wäre. Dafür ziehe ich einen Stern ab. Meines Erachtens sollten Steckdosen irgendwie nachgerüstet werden. Ansonsten wars mega und ich schließe es nicht aus, dass wir wieder kommen!

Great campsite, always clean and the staff are always very friendly. There is a lot on offer for children and it never gets boring. We love coming here every year for New Year's Eve.

Very nicely landscaped vacation park with beautiful water chalets

We were actually in a campground in Luxembourg but didn't really like it there. We called BreeBronne if we could come and stay for 2 days on the way home. That was not possible. When we asked if we could stay for 1 night, we had to discuss it and then suddenly we could choose how many days we wanted. We chose 2. On the way to the campsite we decided to ask if we could stay longer, but we got a rather gruff "no that's not possible, it's 2 nights and then you have to leave". Okay too bad but understandable considering we came in so spontaneously. But upon installation at the campsite it appears that half the fields are empty and also through the Internet I can just book for further days. Only now we have to pay preferential rates to keep our spot if we book online, which would not have been necessary if we could have chosen a longer period on arrival. The reception wants nothing, so we go home tomorrow even though we would have liked to stay, and we could have stayed at the campsite. The 3 stars is because it really is a very nice, neat, well maintained campsite with very clean sanitary facilities (a bit outdated) but with deduction of the service.
