5 stars? Unfortunately, we can’t understand that!

We stayed at the campground in early October during the off-season and were disappointed. The restrooms were very clean, but clearly in need of renovation (moldy grout, worn-out toilet seats). The playground was also neglected, full of trash, and the metal on the play equipment was flaking … off. In the otherwise beautifully designed indoor pool, the water was much too cold, and the material on the baby slide was also flaking off.

In the off-season, many facilities were closed, and the supermarket was only open for 1.5 hours in the morning. Given the prices, this simply means you have to make too many compromises.

What we found particularly baffling was the way sites were assigned: The campground was nearly empty, with entire sections completely vacant. Nevertheless, we had to squeeze our trailer into a tiny gap. When we politely asked for a different spot, we weren’t offered a single alternative. Instead, we were told that only the front spots were still being assigned, since the campground would be closing soon. Why guests are crammed together so tightly when there are so many empty spots is completely baffling to us and anything but customer-oriented.

On the positive side were the beautiful, modern restaurant with delicious food and the attractive new rental accommodations.

Conclusion: The campground has potential, but in our opinion, it by no means lives up to the standards of a 5-star campground. The condition, service, and amenities do not match the price. Unfortunately, we do not feel the value for money is there at all. Read more Show less

A very nice campsite with its own lake, beach and small, adequate swimming pool. There is a snack bar and supermarket. A large tent area with outdoor kitchen. There is an indoor area for the kids, which is great, especially in bad weather. Maasbree has a Jumbo and is only a short distance from Venlo. Lots of events for children using the app. The Horror Tour in autumn was super organized and carried out. Big praise to all!!!!

All good. Place is very clean Indoor pool clean. Couldn't complain and booked again straight away. Staff all very very friendly and helpful. We only find washing machine and dryer very expensive. But they have to be paid for. You can understand that.

What an experience. We live nearby and have always camped at the same campground in the same municipality. BreeBronne is a beautifully maintained park. Lots of nature, a small lake, a swimming pool, and plenty of cottages, Cubes, glamping tents, and campsites. The park has a spacious layout with more than enough room for expansion. We tried … staying in a “Cube” once, and we really enjoyed it. We also liked the Brasserie—delicious food at a fair price. We’re very taken with this park and are considering renting there more often or even buying a property there.
We didn’t try the pizzeria or the snack bar. The park also has a supermarket that, in our opinion, offers a wide selection of items, as well as fresh bread in the morning.
