    Just like last year we booked a vacation for us and our cats at this campsite because it was well liked with the caravan. So this year we booked again but to our great surprise the booking is refused by the campsite, reason the amount of cats we bring. Reference is made to the house rules for the number of pets you may bring. However, they do not explain why it was not a problem last year, because the house rules are the same as last year. Our cats are not allowed to roam freely and their living space is limited to the awning and caravan and they are fine with that. They have also been fully vaccinated, microchipped and have a tracer. The cat litter doesn't bother them either because that is residual waste, no one from the campsite or campsite guests is bothered by my cats, yet I am not allowed to take them. So you can take two dogs the size of a pony but you can't take cats that don't bother anybody. So that makes no sense at all. So for everybody if you want to bring 3 parakeets, that's not allowed according to the house rules, even if nobody is bothered by them. Actually, the explanation is that they only want dogs. Fortunately there are also plenty of campsites in the Netherlands where I am just welcome with my cats and where they are more flexible with the house rules.

    Net als vorig jaar hebben we voor ons en onze katten een vakantie geboekt bij deze camping omdat deze goed beviel met de caravan. Dit jaar dus weer geboekt maar tot onze grote verbazing wordt de boeking door de camping geweigerd, reden de hoeveelheid katten die we meenemen. Hierbij wordt verwezen naar de huisregels voor het aantal huisdieren die je mee mag nemen Echter verklaren ze niet waarom het vorig geen probleem was, de huisregels zijn namelijk hetzelfde als vorig jaar. Onze katten mogen niet vrij rondlopen en hun leefruimte is beperkt tot de voortent en caravan en dat vinden ze prima. Daarnaast zijn ze van alle vaccinaties voorzien, gechipt en hebben ze een tracer Het kattenbak afval hebben ze ook geen last van want dat is restafval, niemand van de camping of campinggasten heeft overlast van mijn katten, toch mag ik ze niet meenemen. Je kan dus wel 2 honden zo groot als een pony meenemen maar katten waar niemand last van heeft mag dus niet. Dat slaat dus nergens op. Dus voor iedereen als je 3 parkieten mee wil nemen, dat mag dus niet volgens de huisregels, ook als niemand er last van heeft. Eigenlijk is de uitleg dat ze alleen maar honden willen hebben. Gelukkig zijn er ook nog genoeg campings in Nederland waar ik gewoon welkom ben met mijn katten en waar ze flexibeler zijn met de huisregels.
