De Achterste Hoef is a spacious campsite with plenty of greenery and large pitches separated by hedges. Guests particularly appreciate the clean sanitary facilities that are regularly maintained, the friendly and helpful staff at reception, and the extensive facilities including the swimming pool, swimming lake with slide, and playgrounds scattered across the site. The animation team organizes fun activities for children and the restaurant is praised for its honest dishes at reasonable prices. However, many visitors complain about significant price increases and find the wifi connection very poor, while some experience noise disturbance from other guests and feel there is insufficient supervision of campsite rule enforcement.

We had a few wonderful days camping. The sites are spacious, and the restrooms are plentiful and clean. They’re laid out practically, too, with nice showers and separate sinks. The staff is super friendly. We enjoyed the fresh rolls and croissants in the morning. We didn’t go to the swimming pools because the swimming lake and sandy beach were clearly our favorites. Among other things, the raft in the lake provided hours of fun. We had a great time and would love to come back next time.

Stayed at the campground; the restrooms were very clean, though it is a fairly large campground.

We stayed here for 12 days. It was a very nice campground, and the 65th-anniversary celebration was the highlight. We had everything we needed, the kids had fun, and the weather was great.
