Glampingtent 6 is a spacious furnished safari tent that brings you closer to nature and is equipped with all conveniences. The tent is at ground level, suitable for 6 persons and can be entered via a few steps. In the common room you will find a sitting area with television, dining area and kitchen with refrigerator, coffee maker and induction cooker.     We had a wonderful stay at the Europarcs Het Amsterdamse campground, despite a complicated arrival around 6:30 p.m.—the reception desk was closed even though it was supposed to close at 7:00 p.m. There were no signs indicating the site or the number, and we had to drive through the gates. In fact, many other people had the same experience. We called the number posted on the door but had trouble reaching them; it was finally resolved after 30 minutes, but when you’ve been driving for a while, you tend to be less patient.
    Aside from this problem upon arrival, the rest went well—the campground was well-maintained and pleasant, the restrooms were very clean, and there was a bus stop right at the campground entrance for access to downtown Amsterdam. It was a 50-minute bus ride with a transfer at the airport—very easy. However, the campground’s proximity to the airport and the frequent takeoffs (every 5 minutes) of planes weren’t mentioned on the website. But we were only bothered between 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. about every other day; after that, the nights were very quiet. Plus, we’re close to the city, so we didn’t make a big deal out of it—especially since we’d found a deal on the campsite a week before leaving: 62 euros for 3 nights. For Amsterdam, it was perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

    Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au camping Europarcs Het Amsterdamse, malgré une arrivée compliquée vers 18h30 accueil fermé alors que la fermeture était 19 h. Pas d'indication pour l'emplacement, le numéro , accès voiture par les barrières. d'ailleurs beaucoup de personnes ont eu la même expérience .nous avons appelé le numéro inscrit sur la porte mais avec des difficultés à les joindre puis ça s'est réglé au bout de 30 min ,mais quand on a fait de la route on est moins patients .
    Hormis ce problème à l'arrivée, le reste c'est bien passé, camping bien entretenu et agréable, sanitaires très propres , arrêt de bus pour accéder au centre d'Amsterdam à l'entrée du camping, 50 min de bus avec changement à l'aéroport, très facile . Cependant la proximité avec l'aéroport et le décollage régulier( toute les 5 min) des avions, n'ai pas mentionné sur le site . Mais nous avons juste été gênés entre 19h et 22h environ 1 jour sur deux ,puis les nuits furent très calmes . Et puis nous sommes près de la ville donc nous en avons pas fait un problème, surtout que nous avions trouvé une promo pour l'emplacement 1 semaine avant de partir 62 euros pour 3 nuits A Amsterdam c'était parfait . nous y reviendrons sans problèmes .

    We stayed there for 4 nights and were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the restroom facilities. There were clumps of hair in the shower drains that had been there for days. There was dirt in front of and between the washing machines that looked like it had been there for years… You could almost run a microwave on it 🤮
    When we arrived, we were greeted nicely. Unfortunately, the front desk is only open until 5:00 p.m., just like the small self-service store.
    The small snack bar or bistro was closed the whole time. But at least there was a pizza vending machine, though we didn’t try it.
    When we checked out, we had to pay a hefty fee for electricity, which should really be included in the price of a spot like this.

    Wir waren 4 Nächte dort und waren von der Sauberkeit des Sanitärgebäudes sehr enttäuscht.. In den Duschabläufen waren büschelweise Haare über Tage hinweg. Vor und zwischen den Waschmaschinen liegt der Dreck von gefühlt Jahren…. Die Mikrowelle konnte fast schon laufen 🤮
    Als wir ankamen wurden wir nett empfangen. Leider hat die Rezeption nur bis 17.00 Uhr geöffnet, genau wie der kleine Selbstbedienungsladen.
    Der kleine Imbiss oder Bistro war die ganze Zeit geschlossen. Aber immerhin gab es einen Pizza-Automaten, den wir aber nicht ausprobiert haben.
    Beim Auschecken mussten wir noch richtig für Strom bezahlen, der eigentlich bei so einen Stellplatzpreis includiert sein müsste.

    Watch out for bed bugs! Came home after a night in a hiker’s cabin with an extreme number of bites. After seeing a doctor, it was most likely bed bugs.

    I emailed and called Europarcs to let them know about this. Didn’t get any response. Oh well; just be warned.

    Pas op voor bedwantsen! Na een nachtje in een trekkershut thuis gekomen met een extreme hoeveelheid aan beten. Na doktersbezoek hoogstwaarschijnlijk bedwantsen geweest.

    Gemaild en gebeld met Europarcs om ze hier van op de hoogte te stellen. Nergens reactie op gekregen. Dan maar zo; wees gewaarschuwd.
