We booked our first pitch online, so we couldn't check the parking space visually beforehand. On arrival, we realized that our motorhome with alcove and over 3m height did not fit on the pitch without driving through the treetop. On request, we were given a new pitch, which was also under an oak tree with low-hanging branches. When we politely asked if we could move to a pitch in the west of the park where there were no trees (it should be noted that at the time of our stay there were around 1.5 hectares of open space on an unparceled meadow), we were politely informed that this was not possible. We then left and skipped the overnight stay we had already paid for, and of course we lost the money.

We camped here one night during Easter 2026. There seems to be only one camping rate: 45 Euros. Sky high for two hikers with a small tent. The price/quality ratio is completely skewed. Presumably the old campsite "Vogelenzang" has become prey to big money. Looked up some headlines about Marine Parks. Hmmm, I wouldn't trust my life savings to that. This was once a beautiful campground.

Disappointing. Stayed in the cheapest cabin. No heating, no cover or sleeping bag provided (even on request) - with only 5 degrees Celsius outside at night, so it was a very cold night. The toilets and showers nearby were locked, the only facilities available were on the opposite side of the camping, which is unreasonable and inhumane. Fortunately I had a bicycle - otherwise it would have been a 10-12 minute walk each way. The top of everything was when I locked the cabin from inside and got stuck, with the lock broken and no possibility to leave the cabin. Fortunately I had a phone with me and managed to get and call the emergency number. A guy with a cigarette in his mouth came and opened the door with a crowbar. At least he was human enough to apologise - differently from the front desk staff next morning, who never did. The prices of the larger cabins are exorbitant, given the proximity to the tulip fields and nature reserve. Despite some nice nature around, the camping ground itself is nothing special - no decorations, no flowers. Perhaps it is somewhat nicer in the season.

Top organization, exemplary check-in process. Unfortunately, very grubby. The sanitary building was not even cleaned in three days of stay.

Orga top, Check in Prozess vorbildlich. Leider, leider sehr schmuddelig.
