Imagine waking up in your stylish lodge, opening the doors and breathing in the salty sea air – that’s Sea Lodges Bloemendaal. Hidden between the dunes and just a short walk from Bloemendaal aan Zee, these modern beach lodges are the perfect mix of coastal charm and contemporary comfort.
Each lodge is light, bright and cleverly designed, with room for up to 4 people. You’ll have two cosy bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, so you can easily cook your own breakfast or enjoy a relaxed dinner together after a long beach day. The comfortable living area flows out onto your private veranda – ideal for slow mornings with coffee or chilled evenings with a drink. Some lodges are also accessible, so everyone can enjoy a carefree break by the sea.
Step outside and you’re in dune paradise. Within minutes you’re on the wide sandy beach of Bloemendaal aan Zee, where you can swim, sunbathe or try windsurfing. Prefer nature? Hop on a bike and explore Zuid-Kennemerland National Park with its beautiful trails and viewpoints. And if you’re in the mood for a bit of culture, shopping or a cosy terrace, the historic city of Haarlem is only about 15 minutes away by car.
Good news for dog owners: Sea Lodges Bloemendaal is very pet-friendly, and you can bring up to two dogs. Stroll together along the dog-friendly parts of the beach, wander through the nearby nature reserves or relax at beach bars like Ubuntu Beach and San Blas, where your four-legged friend is also welcome. Back at your lodge you can unwind in the hammock or on the veranda while your dog naps at your feet.
A few practical notes: during the Luminosity Festival (25–28 June 2026), it can be busier in the area and a higher deposit applies, which is refunded after your stay. Around New Year the park is completely firework-free – ideal if you’re travelling with pets or young children who prefer a peaceful environment.

The location is really super, near the beach! I had read that the cottages could get hot but expected that this would be solved with air conditioning or something. This is not the case. Outside it was pleasant, about 17 to 20 degrees but inside quickly 25. If it is 30 degrees it seems to me no fun to stay there..For more than 200 euros per night I find this actually quite bad. The cottages are otherwise fine, though holes in the cushions of the chairs on the terrace. + points are, a well 👍 equipped kitchen, televisions and a lovely hammock! The cottages are a bit apart which is fine with a small (crying) baby. There is a store on the park with yummy sandwiches and other basic things. I would come back but not in the middle of summer, and I think the price-quality ratio is a bit out of balance.

De locatie is echt super, vlakbij het strand! Ik had gelezen dat de huisjes heet zouden kunnen worden maar had verwacht dat dit wel opgelost zou zijn met een airco ofzo. Dit is niet het geval. Buiten was het aangenaam, zo’n 17 tot 20 graden maar binnen al snel 25. Als het 30 graden is lijkt het mij geen pretje om daar te verblijven..Voor meer dan 200 euro per nacht vind ik dit toch eigenlijk wel erg. De huisjes zijn verder prima, wel gaten in de kussens van de stoelen op het terras. + punten zijn, een goed 👍 ingerichte keuken, televisies en een heerlijke hangmat! De huisjes staan een stukje van elkaar wat fijn is met een kleine ( huilende) baby. Er is een winkeltje op het park met lekker broodjes en andere basic dingen. Ik zou wel terugkomen maar niet in hartje zomer, en ik vind de prijs kwaliteit verhouding wel wat uit balans.

We stayed in the Deluxe lodge and loved the privacy with two bathrooms, It made our stay much more comfortable, The furniture was stylish, and the large windows let in lots of light, I would definitely come back!
