With a location in the nature reserve the Vechtdal, you are assured of a natural environment when you sleep at Camping 't Veld. The characteristic of this nature area is its many different landscapes. Take beautiful cycling and walking tours, or choose to go on De Vecht by boat at Rondvaartboot Le Bateau Napoleon in Loozen. Drive towards Beerze to spot Scottish Highland cattle, or go to Kaasmakerij en Boerderij Heileuver to learn how cheese is made. A fun and tasty trip to make in the Vechtdal! There are also many castles and estates to be found in this area of the Netherlands. A popular estate is Landgoed Het Laer, surrounded by fifty acres of forest.

Out and about with the children

Are you with the whole family at Camping 't Veld? Then head towards the indoor amusement park Plopsaland. This park is located 23 km from the glamping and is especially fun to go with small children. A little further away is Wildlands Emmen, where you can spot the most special animals. Just over the German border, about a 50-minute drive away, is another zoo. Namely Tierpark Nordhorn. From wild cats to active monkeys, you'll check them all out here! Do the kids feel like climbing and clambering like monkeys themselves? Then head for Monkeytown, a larger version of the indoor playground at the campground. Kids will have the time of their lives, and you can cycle there within 6 minutes.

The Vechtdal Four Day Bike Ride in September

Do you want to cycle and walk a lot during your vacation? Then Camping 't Veld is the place for you! Not only is it possible to rent bikes, there are also many routes in the area. Are you coming in September? Then join the Vechtdal bicycle four-day event! At the reception of the campsite they sell maps of the area and make use of the free information package you receive with your stay.

A day full of adrenaline

Camping 't Veld is located between two amusement parks, namely Avonturenpark Hellendoorn and Attractiepark Slagharen where you step into the world of cowboys and Indians. After about a 20-minute drive you will be welcomed by fast roller coasters, water rides and spectacular shows for the whole family. A trip to either of these two parks will be an active day full of adrenaline! When you return to the glamping in Overijssel, relax in your safari tent.

    We find the campsite very nice and v the children fun animation! The beach chalet is also so really worth it! We are positive about that! What really is a minus point is that the license plate recognition (v.d. barrier really does not work) Error message etc.consequence always waiting and walking to reception! That problem had many more people at the campsite we heard. The same money also v facial recognition v d. Pool entrance, we have seen people who had to lift their children over fences etc. ... Not really safe we found! At the reception there is a different response, by one you are kindly helped the other is stiff and not helpful!

    Wij vinden de camping erg leuk en v de kinderen leuke animatie! Het strandchalet is ook zo echt de moeite waard! Daar zijn we positief over! Wat echt een min punt is dat de kenteken herkenning ( v.d. slagboom echt niet werkt) Foutmelding enz.gevolg steeds wachten en naar receptie lopen! Dat probleem hadden veel meer mensen op de camping hoorden we. Hetzelfde geld ook v gezichtsherkenning v d. Zwembad ingang,we hebben mensen gezien die hun kinderen over hekken moesten( gingen) tillen enz... Niet echt veilig vonden wij! Bij de receptie wordt daar verschillend op gereageerd,door de ene wordt je vriendelijk geholpen de ander stug en niet behulpzaam!

    Nice little campground. Very friendly staff. Place with private sanitary booked. It's probably just me, but I found the plumbing not really clean. Self so after. Brasserie, great place for a bite to eat. Simple menu, but no less delicious. Reception has a bread service and a well-stocked store for reasonable prices. In short, so far, a big 8.

    Leuke kleine camping. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Plaats met prive sanitair geboekt. Het ligt w.s. aan mij, maar ik vond t sanitair niet echt schoon. Zelf dus nog na gedaan. Brasserie, prima plaats om een hapje te eten. Eenvoudige kaart, maar niet minder lekker. Receptie is voor zien van een brood service en een best goed gevuld winkeltje voor redelijke prijzen. Kortom, tot nu toe, een dikke 8.

    Beautiful campsite, nice small scale. We spent a week and a half with two children (ages 5 and 3). Cozy field close to the sanitary building. Sanitary facilities nice, clean and tidy with two children's toilets which was very nice. Animation was every day a party for the children, every day some activities and the ladies of the animation do their best to make it a party, very nice to see! Swimming pool also nice and neat, nice warm water. Brasserie had delicious lunch. The only downside I can think of (and that's not the campsite) is the noise from Capfun which is right next door, they had disco night swimming with music of course when our kids went to bed. But that's all part of it of course;) All in all we had a super nice vacation, and compliments to the staff. Also to the chores / maintenance men who are busy all day. We see your work <3

    Prachtige camping, mooi kleinschalig. We zijn anderhalve week geweest met twee kinderen (5 en 3 jaar). Gezellig veldje vlakbij het sanitair gebouw. Sanitairvoorzieningen mooi, schoon en netjes met twee kindertoiletten wat erg fijn was. Animatie was elke dag een feest voor de kinderen, elke dag wel een aantal activiteiten en de dames van de animatie doen erg hun best om er een feest van te maken, erg leuk om te zien! Zwembad ook mooi en netjes, lekker warm water. Brasserie heerlijke lunch gehad. Het enige minpuntje wat ik kan bedenken (en dat ligt niet aan deze camping) dat is het lawaai wat van Capfun komt welke er vlak naast ligt, die hadden savonds disco zwemmen met muziek uiteraard als onze kids net naar bed gingen. Maar dat hoort er natuurlijk allemaal bij;) Al met al een super fijne vakantie gehad, en complimenten aan het personeel. Ook aan de klusjes/onderhoudsmannen die hele dagen bezig zijn. Wij zien jullie werk <3

    We found it a very child friendly campsite especially big compliment to the anemation super arranged. Sanitary was also super clean. Top definitely recommended for big and small children.
