Camping de Regge-Vallei is a small-scale charm campsite that excels in peace, space and hospitality. Guests praise the very friendly and helpful owners who are present daily and happy to assist. The sanitary facilities are cleaned multiple times a day and are experienced as excellently maintained. The campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of the Twente countryside with wide views over the meadows, where storks can often be seen. For children there is plenty of entertainment: a large covered play barn with ball pit, table tennis, billiards and various games, an extensive outdoor playground and free use of go-karts, scooters and bicycles. The location offers ideal cycling and hiking opportunities through the beautiful surroundings.

    We enjoyed the great atmosphere, beautiful location, and spacious campsites.
    The little shop is especially nice—it’s a great place to pick up some tasty local everyday products. There’s plenty of fun for young children in particular, with pedal cars and push cars. Kids can also play to their heart’s content in the very spacious barn. There are various hiking and biking trails starting right from the campground. We also enjoyed the beautiful nature around the Beneden Regge, which is within walking distance of the campground. It was great that, during the tropical days, we were allowed to use the “De Groene Jager” outdoor swimming pool—located a short distance away (2.5 km)—for free.

    Wij hebben genoten van de goede sfeer, mooie ligging en ruime kampeerplaatsen.
    Heel fijn is het winkeltje waar je toch even wat lekkere alledaagse streekproducten kunt kopen. Voor met name jonge kinderen is er veel vertier in de vorm van trap en loopautootjes. Ook kan er naar harte lust worden gespeeld in de zeer ruime schuur. Vanaf de camping zijn diverse wandel en fietsroutes. We hebben ook genoten van de prachtige natuur rond de Beneden Regge die op loopafstand van de camping is. Fijn dat we tijdens de tropische dagen gratis gebruik mochten maken van het even verderop (2,5 km) gelegen openluchtzwembad “De Groene Jager”.

    What a beautiful campground.
    Very clean, quiet, and in a gorgeous area for biking.
    We just got back from 5 wonderful days in the Regge Valley.
    We’ll definitely be staying there longer next year.

    We had a wonderful stay. We were at site 9, with the small playground and the stork’s nest right in front of our tent. As shown on the map, the space for the tent is limited. The nest is used as a roosting spot for the storks, so you’ll hear clattering quite often, even at night and in the early morning. The area for the awning was paved with stones, so bringing a soft groundsheet is recommended for people with small children. The playground and the area around our site were safe for our 1- and 3-year-old children. The restrooms were fine; it’s nice that you don’t have to walk across the campground carrying a roll of toilet paper. (July 2026)

    We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. We stonden op plek 9 met de kleine speeltuin en het ooievaarsnest direct voor onze tent. Zoals op de kaart ingetekend is de ruimte voor de tent beperkt. Het nest is in gebruik als slaapplek voor de ooievaars, dus je hoort wel regelmatig geklepper, ook in de nacht en vroege ochtend. De plaats van de voortent was verhard met stenen, dus een zachte doek meenemen als gronddoek is wel aan te raden voor mensen met kleine kinderen. De speeltuin en de ruimte rondom onze plek was veilig voor onze kinderen van 1 en 3 jaar. Sanitair was prima, fijn dat je niet met de wc-rol over de camping hoeft te lopen. (juli 2026)
